JOB DESCRIPTION iBalance Physiotherapy, Sports & Wellness Center is a rapidly growing multidisciplinary clinic in Ottawa. We have an extraordinary team that provides physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractor services and other wellness programs including dietary, fitness and weight-control, yoga and tai chi. We pride ourselves for providing patient-centered, hands-on, one-on-one care to our clients. We promote healthy living through social media, provide free-consultations to low-income seniors and children in the community.
Responsibilities & Duties • Book patients' appointments and take payment • Operate multiple phone lines • Submit insurance claims on behalf of patients • Reply patient emails and in person requests • Data entry and scanning reports and forms • Restock and clean patient rooms throughout the day as needed • Basic daily cleaning and tidying duties for gym, reception area and washrooms • Assist therapists with requests and inquiries • Assist clinic manager with day-to-day duties • Onsite laundry for massage linen
Required Education, Skills & Qualifications • Service oriented, friendly and a team player • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) • Experience with Telus Portal, Provider Connect and Blue Cross (preferred but not required) • Post-secondary education • Multitasker with great attention to detail able to work alone and within a team environment • Impeccable organization and time-management skills
