Become part of the first new Nordic Spa in Nova Scotia: SENSEA NORDIC SPA
We are seeking massage therapists to work part-time or full-time offering massages to guests at our spa.
Our Nordic Spa is located in the beautiful South Shore region in Chester, Nova Scotia. The site is nestled in a deep forest by Stanford Lake. Our spa offers guests an all-season outdoor Nordic experience including massages with registered massage therapists (hot stone, prenatal, relaxation, Swedish, & therapeutic deep tissue) and saunas, hammams, outdoor baths and other relaxation areas.
To be successful in this role, the ideal massage therapist will: - be registered and in good standing with MTANS, MTWPAM, or NHPC - be courteous and polite to all guests to ensure an exceptional massage experience - some weekends and evening shifts expected
You can work with us as an independent contractor or as an employee: - as a contractor you would bill us $55/per treatment on weekdays and $65/per treatment on weekends - as an employee you would be paid $32/per hour including paid breaks.
Our spa offers a unique work environment for our staff as you will get to enjoy working close to nature from our massage yurts. Our massages are almost always booked to 100% capacity. As an added benefit, all massage therapists are permitted to use the spa facilities for free! The spa is also willing to help our staff pay for continued education.
We have an employee benefits program for staff who have worked with us for 5 months and work at least 20 hours a week. RMTs who are employees or independent contractors will be eligible if they work enough hours.
