On What? A sex worker? No.

I bought the complete series - all seasons, all episodes - of the following TV classics on DVD format:

Roseanne
Married with Children
2 and 1/2 Men (Seasons with Charlie)
Family Ties
Seinfeld

Money well spent And all it cost me was the equivalent of a 1 hour appt with a sex worker. And for me, all that would entail is 2 minutes of actual pussy thrusting and then 58 minutes of pillow talk.

Retirement from the Hobby is good folks. You should try it.

It's like books: even though you can read them electronically, there will always be those who prefer the real thing. It's a tactile thing. It's the difference between going to an mpa for a handy, versus staying home and doing it yourself: both achieve the same result, but one feels so much better.

On Thursday nights you had The Cosby Show, followed by Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court and ending with Hill Street Blues. That kind of thing will never happen again. Sad panda.

I respect your viewpoint, but the way I look at it is: If I only have fifteen to twenty years of life left, why not just keep what I'm happy with in the format I'm happy with? DVDs don't crash, don't get viruses, don't need subscriptions. Now, for someone who constantly needs something new without pausing to reflect on what they've just seen (and will likely never see again), then computers are the best for distraction. But I like to savour a good joke--I can't tell you how many times I've watched every episode of Seinfeld or All in the Family. Also, you can't take it with you. Do I care if the format I choose to watch will, ostensibly, last forever? No. I'm sure DVDs will last me the next ten years which is all I ask. I don't need a format that will preserve them long after I'm in the ground. That's neurotic thinking. I likes what I likes, and I don't begrudge anyone their own methods and ways of watching what they likes--I'm just explaining my thinking behind why I prefer my DVDs.
