Acronyms?? They confuse me

So many folks use acronyms, and I get some of them, use some of them. but some of them t102

Here is a partial list of what I don't understand:

I understand:

SCM
RX (why do a lot of folks type in "script" when we have RX?
MFR
ROM
DOA
TIA


Add some others if you have them so that I can be less confused in the future.

HX = history
TX = treatment

At least from where I come from.

Sx = surgery

TP can also mean transverse processes (of vertebrae) and Sx can also mean symptoms (can also be written Sxs for symptoms).

I've also seen Trigger Point written as TrP.

mm is usually muscles plural, while m. is muscle singular, example: trapezius m.

One early test in school I had to demand a corrected X on a question.
The answer was Hypertension. I knew that and due to habit wrote the letters HTN. That's HTN in my neck of the woods, always has been.
