"do what works for you," Have I hit a nerve or something? After hammering your thumb for many years suddenly learning there's at least some sound reasoning and logic behind ways to go about tipping, has that got the better of you?
"This is a professional luxury experience for most part price is fully baked in" sounds all well and good however the fact is this is a "Service Industry," the exact Industry where you traditionally tip, don't you know? And oh, I know creating the "professional luxury experience" moniker looks real cool but is about as relevant as a hammer swing.
Pretty much everyone has gone over the cliche "that's the way I've always done it." In case you were not following, the result is that kind of analysis is near useless in establishing solid reasoning towards any decision making.
I am truly glad that you have had great experiences, good for you, but if you want to compare why you do what you do with why I do what I do, I will take the time to point out that my position is based off not simply experience but sound logic and reasoning, where as yours is based off, well let's be nice and say, good feelings experience.
I think there's a possibility the luxury market sector you are in, the Providers don't care about Tips, don't want them, don't need them, don't expect them. Where the market sector I'm from, the Providers track who Tips what and they even share some of it (info) with the other Providers. Now there's one explanation for how your methods work well enough for you and my method works well for me and everyone else, because my method can be transferred to either market without upset, and yours works only in the "luxury sector."
Don't worry about this too much my friend, I've been hung up with COVID for 4 weeks now and have nothing better to do than bust your balls.
