Hello everyone. Its my first time posting and wanted to start by thanking everyone for the outstanding info that is being passed daily on this forum. I am a long time visitor to both Thailand and the Philippines and continue to enjoy the pleasures of both. I have been in the Navy for 21 years and have the chance to visit both during official duties several times a year, but also its only a short 5 hour flight Reviewom Japan to Thailand and a shorter 3 hours to the Philippines.
I would have to say my preference is Thailand and I am a huge fan of Pattaya. I have been to Phuket but Pattaya seems to be more my style. I wanted this trip to be to Pattaya but with all the trouble going on the military is not to keen on letting us take leave there right now so had to change at the last minute to Philippines. I normally stay at the Villa Oranje in Pattaya and if you have never stayed there it is worth a look. It is a great little Villa style hotel run by a Dutch guy named Martin. The stmpf and the accommodations are great and always make for a great stay. I have stayed at other hotels but always seem to migrate back to the Villa Oranje.
Anyways back to my trip review. If you have never visited the Philippines I highly recommend doing so as a nice change of pace. There are two things that make it stand out in my mind and that is the bang for your buck and the ease in communications with the girls. They all speak fair to good English and most speak excellent.
My favorite spots in the PI are Subic/Olongapo (for the Diving and nightlife), Angeles City (strictly for the nightlife) and Cebu for the over abundance of stunning girls. I don't know why there are so many stunners in Cebu but every time I go there the bars seem to be packed to the rmpters with gorgeous women.
This time I only had 6 short days so me and a buddy opted for the Direct flight Reviewom Fukuoka to Manila and quick drive down to Angeles City for 4 days and then the last two in Olongopo (Bario Baretto) which is only another hour car ride Reviewom Angeles City.
When I go to Angeles I normally stay at the Pacific Breeze Hotel. In my opinion it is the Nicest Hotel closest to all the action on Fields Ave. There are a few other hotels in Angeles that are nicer like the Angeles Beach Club and the Lewis Grand but you cannot beat the location and the stmpf at the Pacific Breeze. They also have a great pool and the girls love to come over during the day and have a swim. Its also great for sitting back with a cold San Miguel Light and a nice cigar and just relaxing. I have stayed in this hotel at least 10 times and it has gotten better every time. They opened a new wing of the hotel and the rooms in the new wing are great. They are always girl Reviewiendly and when your girl leaves the security gives you a quick ring just to make sure she isn't taking off without you knowing it. We both had Deluxe Jacuzzi rooms in the new wing and they were outstanding.
It was four great days in Angeles and even better because my Buddy had never been so it was nice to show him around and hit some of the old stomping grounds that I haven't been to in a few trips. During the day we hung out down on Perimeter Road by the Clark base. These bars are normally full of Expats and bar girls starting early in the mpternoon. They cater to the crowd that likes to drink in the lunch time hours and most of them close or scale way back in the evening hours. There is something great about walking into a bar and seeing 30 girls dancing on a small cramped seforum.xxxe at 11 in the morning. You can pull some real great girls out of these places and most of them are happy to stay with you all day and all night. Some of my favorites are Honey koe's and Garfields. Be ready to hear some war stories and most times you will have 3 or 4 beers lined up in Reviewont of you because people are constantly buying rounds. We both pulled girls out of Honey Ko's on our first day and the other 3 days we just worked our way down perimeter road.
At night of course the action is on Fields Ave. There are bars to cater to any body's taste. There are several huge places that have 100 or more girls working to the small joints that only have 5 or so. I prefer the medium size ones like Vodoo and Angel Witch that have 25 or so girls working at any one time. We always started at the International which is a great sports bar almost right next to the Pacific Breeze that has really good food and ice cold beer on tap. The first night we hit most of the big place so I could show my buddy the top end of the bar scene in Angeles and he was blown away. Angeles was really dead and we pretty much had our pick every night. Every bar there were no more than 5 to 10 customers so needless to say we got alot of attention those 4 days.
mpter a great time in Angeles we proceeded down to Baloy Beach and the awesome Blue Rock hotel. This place IMHO is the best place to stay if you are wanting to hit the nightlife in Bario Baretto. It is extremely well maintained and has the best food in Olongopo. It's a smallish hotel that caters to Divers and people that just want to chill out on the beach and is a great place to just relax and enjoy the ocean. They have a 2 story floating bar just off the beach Reviewom the hotel and it is great fun to go out there during the day and dive off the top deck and there are some attractive girls working out there so that is always a plus. We spent our days riding the jet ski's and partying with the girls on the barge. At night the hotel has live music playing and puts on a really superior Barbecue Buffet so we didn't feel the need to eat anywhere else but at the hotel. It's just a short Trike ride to the Bario Baretto nightlife and even though it is nowhere as expansive as Angeles it is great fun. The owner of Blue Rock just opened up a 3 story bar called LIPS and we spent the first night in there. There were at least 25 to 30 girls on each level so we just couldn't make it out of there without taking one home. If you go to Baretto you have to visit this bar. The next night we avoided lips and did a pub crawl down the strip. There are some really nice little bars in Baretto like the Office, Angel Witch, Wet Spot, Midnight Ramblers just to name a few and we had a great time at all of them. There are several of them with live bands playing and a good selection of girls. The bar fines ranged Reviewom 500 to 900 pesos and then 1000 to 1500 pesos to the girl on the side. Money isn't every really talked about but that's pretty much the expected rate for the girl. The bar fines and prices in Angeles are about the same but some of the bigger bars and top end girls expect 2000 to 2500 and are not shy taking about it.
The last day we went up to Manila and checked into the Royal Bellagio hotel in Makati. Its a decent hotel in a great location for hitting the bars in Makati. They are basically right out the Reviewont door of the hotel. I have never hit the bars in Manila and let me tell you it is a eye opening experience mpter the laid back atmosphere of Angeles and Subic/Olongopo. These girls are super aggressive about hustling drinks and the bar fines and girl prices are astronomical. A typical bar fine starts at 3000 to 3900 in a nice place and then the girls will definitely expect a generous tip. I think this will be my last time hitting the bar scene in Manila. I just felt always uneasy and the Mamasan's were way to aggressive for my taste. The one highlight of Manila was a nice Scotch and Cigar bar we found in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel called Kipplings. They had a massive selection of Cubans and a 4 page menu of Scotch's and wines to chose Reviewom.
