Are advance appointments with MPAs reliable?

In a post on the Incall board, I mentioned my sense that, with MPs, "a prebooking doesn't always mean much (almost to the level of a B&S), and you're as likely as not to find the MPA busy with another appointment or not even there, and your choices are to leave, wait a long time for her to be ready for you, or (more likely) take whoever else is available then."

Admittedly, though, that perception is based on only some posts I've seen here, so I figured I'd ask the question directly: essentially, if I call ahead (same day or day before) and make an appointment with a particular MPA at a particular time at one of the good agencies, how likely is it that I'll be starting that appointment with that MPA within, say, 10 minutes of the scheduled time? (Yes, assume I'm there on time myself.)

I can only talk about Allure and SRM because those are the only places I have been to.

When I decide which girl I want to see I always call a day or two in advance to book an appointment. There was one time where I showed up only to find out the girl had called in sick.

Ever since then I make sure I call an hour or two before my appointment to confirm it and make sure the MPA is there that day. I have not had any problem since I started doing that. I have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes once I arrive.

I have had both experiences. It really depends on the MPA herself. You need to know if she is reliable and works her shifts as scheduled. As Rack A Holic mentioned, the best policy is to book the appointment and then check an hour or two before the appointment to ensure that the attendant is actually working.

That said, I have had problems with management saying that "Yes, she is working today." and then arriving only to be told that she has not yet arrived and is running late, or has called in sick, or simply not shown up, no explanation. After the third time that this happened to me at Blue Pearl (different attendants) I stopped booking with them.

My other check was once I was assured that my attendant was working I would ask to speak with them. A reputable place will have no problem putting the girl on the phone or telling you to call back in 20 mins if she is in session. When they won't do that, beware!

I guess the most important thing is both the reliability of the attendant and the spa. Over the years I have found the SRM, HFH and Pickering Angels were all very good when making appointments, particularly if you confirm just before you appointment. I once made an appointment at SRM and the attendant didn't show up for her shift. Joy knew that I had travelled 60 mins to get to the appointment, and so she offered me compensation to make up for my inconvenience. SRM has always been a class act.

it's as reliable as you being there on time. if you're booking a popular lady make sure to be there 5 - 10 mins before your session (it's not even reliable too). if you get there 2 minutes before, chances are, your girl is with another john already.
