Bayview Tuina: Sabrina

Well, another often reviewed place (haven't read much lately anyways). I went for the hour which was $80, and threw in another $20 for that little extra.

I've always had Coco (Koko?) so I was excited to get Sabrina. The two have almost identical techniques, but with Sabrina there was a little extra twist in my adventure. I always opt for the hard massage, and did so again. However this time when I got home and looked in the mirror, I had bruises scattered all over my back. They faded after a few days, but I thought I should warn all the attached guys about this. I knew it was a hard massage, but I never thought it would cause bruises cause it was a good-kind-of-hurt, but hey, my pain threshold must be pretty high. At least higher than my back can sustain.

Anyways, even though they aren't the youngest MPAs around, and though I looked like I was beaten by a mugger, I will repeat.

I've had the same experience with Sabrina, bruising on my back, which shouldn't occur with a knowledgable masseuse. I appreciate a good hard massage, but care has to be taken, if there's bruising then there is definitely something wrong with the technique. You're right, Koko has very similar technique, but her massage, while hard, is done better, no bruising at all. I will request Koko from now on, kinda hard to tell them apart as I only see each of them for a second or two before going into the room, and the rest of the time I'm on my stomach looking at the floor.

I was there on Wednesday and found the massage to be way to hard, even after i suggested to the MPA to go softer she comtinued to massage very hard.. not to my liking, will not repeat!
