Massage Therapy students at Cambrian College in Sudbury will be offering free pre-natal and postpartum massages throughout this current fall term, said a news release from the college.
Massages will be provided on campus on Friday afternoons at Cambrian's Massage Therapy clinic.
Cambrian said the clinic is also hosting infant massage seminars on the last Friday of each month, where new parents and caregivers can learn how to safely massage their babies.
More complete information is available on the college website.
Cambrian's second and third-year massage therapy students also offer massages at a cost to members of the community. Students will conduct a personal assessment tailored to individuals, supervised by registered health professionals.
With your input, they develop a safe and effective treatment plan that addresses your therapeutic goals. The length of the assessment can vary, and the remaining time is used for direct, hands-on treatment. The complete treatment cost is $25 (including HST and payment by debit and credit card only).
