Case studies - client study

Hi everyone,

Need some help please!!

I am in the process of writing up those dreaded case studies, and need help in particular with the client studies that you complete 3 times when doing an AOR course.

Has anyone got a copy of their conclusion for a client study that they have had marked, to show the kinds of things to write, as I feel I haven't much to say as you cannot look at trends etc from all treatments.

Here's an extract of my writeup during one client study. Client was in good general health and expressed no concerns, her feet reflected this.

Observations:[/b]

Right:
Pituitary – Crunchy
Shoulder – Crunchy
Neck - Crunchy

Left:[/b]
Shoulder – Crunchy

Condition of Feet:[/b]
Her feet look a little dry across the shoulder region on the left side, but other than that the circulation seems to be good and the pink are a healthy pink colour.

Treatment:[/b]
She had a gentle warm up and cool down to relax her feet. I found very few signs of imbalance so just gave her a thorough full reflexology treatment and gave some encouragement to the areas in need of a little boost.
I found so little I wasn’t sure if this was because it was her first treatment with me cause I had been gentle so not to overstimulate things, or if it is simply because she looks after herself well. I suspect from her consultation that the latter is the case.

Aftercare Advice:[/b]
WhilstI’d found crystals in the shoulders, I advised her that this is quite typical of most people, because of postural and environmental influences. I can only attribute this to the normal skeletal form and the fact that very few people have perfect posture and shoes cannot always be 100% supportive.We have discussed the option ofexamining her posture to ensurethat she is holding herself correctly when, sitting, driving and walking.

I wouldn't go into too much detail in a client study, often people are in good shape, therefore there isn't a lot to write. If this is the case, state it. It's valid that someone has few symptoms in the feet and few symptoms physically.
