Case study help needed - fallopian tube reflex

Hello. I'm training to be a reflexologist and am working on my first case study at the moment (let's call her X). On the third session with X I felt a popping sensation on her right foot next to her lateral anklewhen working her fallopian tube/lower lymph reflex (so I was caterpillar walking across the foot from one ankle to the other - I'm putting all this detail in case I'm identifying the reflex completely incorrectly!). She could feel the popping too. It hadn't been there in our previous sessions.[/align][/align]Anyway, on the third session the popping was more pronounced but I could not also feel something next to the other ankle (same foot). When I touched this area she flinched and said it hurt and felt like there was something pressing deeper within the area.[/align][/align]X is on the combined pill. She'd just started a new packet 3 days before the 3rd session so these sensations can't be down to ovulation. X also said that between the sessions she'd had some light breakthrough bleeding (just spotting) that she's never experienced before.[/align][/align]I wasn't sure how to interpret any of this. Hello Potion

A visit to her GP might set her mind at rest or else lead to necessary further investigations. I haven't heard of a reflexologist picking up an ectopic pregnancy as yet, but reading your post made me wonder. It's always good to get these things checked out. Good luck.
