Cheb warning.

Brief visit to Cheb for the first time recently. Not at all threatening, and I trawled some dodgy estates, as is my habit, but they like to give it some verbals when they've had a few drinks. Just smile and say hello and they're happy. Say something in Czech if possible.

Bear in mind that I don't touch 'clubs' with a bargepole, or accept offers from street pimps, but not much going on at all. Only a couple of very unappealing girls on the roads in from the border. A few, likewise, hanging around the main square and on the streets radiating around the square. But dead quiet.

Loads of coppers - I never went more than 10 minutes without seeing a police car buzzing around - though they didn't seem to be hassling the few girls working. I saw one girl on the square being booked for spitting her gum out or the like, but a couple of old slappers 20 yards away were ignored.

You're most likely to be approached in the square by a teenager who'll ask you to take her out for a drink, along with all her mates hovering in the background. Dress as badly as you like, but they can spot a foreign sex tourist a hundred paces away in the dark. While buying everyone she knows a drink probably wouldn't overtax your wallet, I don't imagine she'd be up for afters, so don't get your hopes up.

So, mark out of 10 for street sex = 0. But, I must say I thought it was a lovely little town. Once I'd given up on any idea of sex I quite enjoyed myself. Didn't get round to visiting the pub brewery near the castle, but I might go back some time just for that. Perhaps the town's profile is too high nowadays so insider info is required.

I don't really rely on the info on escort.cz, but it was written in one of the forums about 4 months ago that the "dessert group" have pulled out of Cheb and Ash, also the ads they had on escort.cz are long gone and the girls who worked there are also gone.
I think Dessert only has the place in Prague.

Crikey, I wish I had read this before I drove to Czech last week. I went over the border at Selb/As last Tuesday lunchtime and stopped to change some money.

A street girl approached me to offer sex. Normally I don’t give them the time of day, as they really are at the bottom end of the wg pecking order. This one seemed nice, however, so after changing some money I went back to her place right in the middle of the town. She had offered me everything for 30 Euros.

She washed me in her shower whilst her accomplice went through my clothes and nicked all the money in my “decoy” wallet (he left my credit cards). The man then came to us claiming to be the owner of the flat. My girl waited outside whilst I got dressed and the man told me that this area is all controlled by mafia types. I got dressed and left and of-course my girl was not there.

I walked straight to my car drove off feeling slightly happy, in a funny way, that I had (again) been taught one of life’s little lessons about going with strangers into their apartments. Funnily enough I had left my main wallet in my trouser pockets and could have lost a fair bit of money had the guy bothered looking there.

So the moral of the story is, firstly, don’t carry too much money around with you and, secondly, only use legitimate looking places. The trouble is I find that part of the fun of this hobby is visiting some really dodgy looking places, so one must use one’s judgement.
