there's something about the distinction U.S. MP's have going that I find so false I can't patronize either, i.e. the we-do-bodywork only place vs. the nothing-legit place.

why isn't there a place where she starts with an earnest rub down and then finishes by giving the client an orgasm?

anyway, the practical distinction just strikes me as a culturally tortured one, and to the extent that it reflects our sexuality not a healthy one at that.

I have been at Aztec massage the last 2 times. My impressions were the girls
at Aztec worked hard in full hour and the place is decent clean enough compare
to AMS in southern Ca. For a better choice , I should visit the Viva Mex. in my
next visit T.J. may be next month. It is still little cold for me this time of year
to do mongering in TJ.

I have had the oppurtunity to meet Michael, the owner of Viva Mex....He is a great stand up guy, and wants to run a good business. Like any business he is provided with different oppurtunities each day, but seems to handle things well and makes business decisions looking toward the future, and not for today.

I would be shocked if this Claudia does not go through his training program. As a matter of fact, I would make a large wager that she must go through the training.

I have never had a massage in either place, but I did have my wife set up with a massage in Viva Mex and she was very impressed with the whole thing. She has never been to the other place or the US, but is a Mexican National and said nothing about the place not being "Mexican like".

I think that it very well may be slanted toward the US citizen, but it has enough "Mexico" in it to keep most happy.

Well the VivaMex owner also has claimed to be a customer of Azteca for 8 years before opening up with MP on Revolution. So I could only assume he like Azteca too if he was a customer all those years? The owner at VivaMex also wrote that the training between the two MPs are like 'night and day' that Azteca does a routine while VivaMex offered more formal comprehensive massage training where each student understands the blood flow of the body and the medical reasons why they do what they do.

I wonder if Claudia will have to go through this comprehensive massage training to get up to speed at VivaMex? Or is she is going to wing it, with her 'routine' she learned many years ago at Azteca? If you ask me both places are about the same as far as technique goes, as I been to both places, and honestly can't tell the difference between any massage methods, as both seem to do a routine, start on the back and finish near the head area, but I enjoy Azteca a little better, because you get more of the Latin favor in the place that lets me know I'm in Mexico. VivaMex is very nice, with that non-Spanish soft soothing music they play, but I feel like I'm still in the states which causes me more stress personally. And I also like the fact that Azteca is cheaper than VivaMex, and their massages last longer.

I don't believe I had the pleasure of having Claudia ever doing my back, but I would think her being the 'BEST' is a matter of personal opinion. I know I seem to enjoy the massage better from a pretty girl, and Azteca and VivaMex both have a few of them.

I also understand the owner of ViaMexSpa use to be a monger or still is a monger, so I certainly have a little more respect for him now. I'm just wondering when he is going to open up a place that gives a "sexual massage" along with a professional massage first? Because I just hate the places that give fake massages or five minutes and then ask you what you really want. I want both a nice massage and a sex session.

The short answer is that Azteca and Viva Mex are both legit message parlors. The only legit massage parlors in downtown Tijuana.

Some background and disclaimers.

For years Azteca was the only place in downtown TJ that offered a legit massage. I, like others, sometimes enjoy a good massage--which isn't something that can usually be found in full service massage parlors. (As you can see, Claudia was the all-star at Azteca).

One day an American monger with a Latina girl friend decided they wanted a couple’s massage. They were less than impressed with Azteca and decided to open a legit MP on Revolucion. The result is Viva Mex.

When Viva Mex was newly opened I visited it. I thought Viva Mex was much better than Azteca and wasn't bashful about saying so on multiple boards. (Viva Mex physically is much nicer. It has a nice waiting room, better showers, they use linen instead of paper on the massage tables, etc. Viva Mex actually has a training program and offers a variety of massage types. Azteca is lacking in all these things.)

Others have a different view. There have been some "spirited discussion" about which place is better. I suggest people visit both places and make their own decission.

At this point I see no reason to digress further about what started those "spirited discussions." But I should add that many months after I started recommending Viva Mex it became a sponsor of a free site (dedicated to mongering in Tijuana) on which I'm an administrator and moderator.

Viva Mex has a more aggressive marketing plan than Azteca, which doesn't advertise. (For example, Viva Mex gives new members of "my board" a free introductory message. They have similar programs with various hotels, tour bus companies, etc.) Viva Mex's superior facility and service combined with their advertising has caused Azteca to lose of lot of customers. So many that Claudia decided to go work for Viva Mex.

If you want a legit message you can get a decent one at either place. I believe, however, that Viva Mex by is far the better place. More importantly I think Viva Mex provides better messages.

I encourage people to try both places and make their own decision. I also encourage those who've been to both places to post about it.

what's going on here, burt? Are Viva Mex and Azteca no sex massage parlors? I see the rates on Viva Mex are an outstanding value. but even with a legit massage, I like them attractive. are they? is Claudia?

For some time Claudia has generally been considered the best massage therapist at Azteca. No longer. She now works at Viva Mex.
