I did a quick search and didn't find what I was looking for, so my apologies if this a repeat topic.

Wondering what you all are using to clean/disinfect your table with these days. Looking for something that is effective, yet gentle enough on the massage table material and isn't super odoriferous. I see many choices online, but I'd prefer a personal recommendation (and without a ton of essential oil blends) - thanks!

Dr. Mercola was just talking about this and he says to use vinegar, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. I can't remember the exact mixed amounts, but if you check out his site it is probably there in the newsletter area.

Yea. It doesn't really tell you exactly how much but I have run across varying amounts of each in recipes found online. What I got out of it is a little of this and a little of that, whichever you like - does the trick. Maybe just some castile soap would work great too. I get some really great soap from Vermont Soapworks online. The have lots of great stuff and one of them is called liquid sunshine. I haven't tried that yet, but it sounds yummy !

That's a great place to start - thanks! I'll check out Vermont Soapworks, too, as I'm familiar with them. That reminds me also to check out Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps.

I see a dizzying amount of choices on the massage supply stores online, but some look like possible overkill to me (w/sterile odor) and then others are loaded with essential oils (and fragrance).

I'll come back and post what I end up with.

If you end up ordering the liquid sunshine from Vermont soap, let me know what you think of it. I've been wanting to try it, but don't need any more soap right now so I can't order anything yet.... I appreciated their explanation of their soap, that the owner had/has horrible reactions to so many things and this is why he started the company in the first place.

Well, I can tell you a product you DON'T want to use" "Little Effort"! That is the stuff the guy who barged into our office today sprayed on our floor- had he sprayed it onto our table I would have been truly incised! Who knows WHAT is in that stuff! I didn't appreciate the odor, either.
