These people are publishing photos without the knowledge or permission of the subjects. Is there anything that can be done to stop them?

Not sure. My guess is noo significant enforcement of copyright, trade mark and internet laws in Costa Rica. There would probably be some recourse in civil court by the owner of the photographs.

It would be very easy to give the Ticas/Nicas the names of owners and where they live here in San Jose and let them deal with it in anyway they want...From what I understand they are dirtbags and get whatever should perhaps happen to them.. Just a thought.

I would guess that if Costa Rica Blush is taking these photos either surreptitiously or without getting a models release the girl would have to be the one to initiate action. They are the injured party not anyone here.

However there may be circumstances that we are unaware as has been demonstrated by some threads here on that subject. And by the way to call someone a dirtbag without knowing them is a bit harsh. Relying on someone told someone who heard about it and told you is hardly justification.

I know of one individual who told me that he sold his pictures to these people. I have emailed them with my intent to simpy state their names and where they live...as I am sure I can find out who they are and already know the area where they live.... Then the chicas or their friends can deal with them personally....Anyone who publishes a photo of someone like they have, without their permission, qualifies them for dirtbag status in my book....

The owners'/adminstrators' stated policy on their site is "If she is a puta, she is fair game for anything we wish to write or publish about her including posting pictures without permission"

This policy qualifys them as scumbag low lifes in my book as it does anyone else who would post a pic of a chica without permission. They have also posted pics and video taken in the KL and from the balcony of the NYB showing the faces of gringos with chicas!! But I am sure they ran across the street to get permission of the unsuspecting gringo and the chica before posting!!!! :evil: : :twisted: I bet any of those gringos would call them scum bags!!!

I told Jenny yesterday that her photo had appeared on craigslist and she asked me to delete it. So I pm'd admin at costaricablush to tell them to remove her pics and they banned me from the site without response. I am responsible for flagging their ad on craigslist and will continue to do so as long as they try to post ads there. I also pm'd cubadave to tell him he does not have permission to spread photos of Jenny around the internet. However, cubadave seems to believe that he has paid for the photos and can post them anywhere he wants. He obviously has an interest in the success of this website if only to inflate his ego. As for the scum/dirt bags responsible for these violations, I agree with the others. Tell the girls who they are and where they live and let the locals deal with them in their own way.

Apparently there are some people who are unhappy with photos and video that appear on the Internet, and for that I am truly regretful, but it is difficult to publish anything on this subject without being the object of scorn and controversy.

I would first like to qualify we have removed photos and videos of anyone who has personally made an appeal with respect to themselves being the object of attention.

Normally, when I get such a removal request the first question I ask is what is your personal or business interest in this situation.

With respect to the “working girls” I would have to ask are you her pimp or just one of her clients because despite all the wonderful legal advice that has been posted here I doubt anyone here is representing her as an attorney.

Second, how can you be sure she “really” wants her picture taken down? She didn’t hire you to represent her interests, you aren’t a social worker, and in fact you are just one of many men who is paying her for sex, romance, or whatever you want to call it.

So, when she cries, pleas or says she is against having her photo published it’s just part of that drama that is your pay for play experience. Point of fact, she IS going to get more money out of YOUR pocket in the form of more frequent visits, tips or whatever in any situation where the drama between you can her increases.

As far as permission for photos, well CRT hosts quite a bit of “member provided” photos, and I doubt written permission exists for each and every photo in the member section. There is nothing wrong with this, because in most situations you really don’t need permission to post a person’s photo for free when you are the guy taking the picture.

Regretfully many of you do not speak Spanish, because you would notice her photo and just about every other photo that has been published on CRT does get published on Spanish speaking forums like FDR and toxxicas. These forums get a lot more exposure in the local community than anything in English.

In fact at this very moment FDR is hosting a contest where the person who submit’s the best photos will get a free session at Manos Traviesos, which is the local Costa Rican name for same MP you refer to as Relax.

So, I would encourage all the self proclaimed champions check out the Spanish forums and start posting your objections in your best Spanish. I’m sure you will be the source of much amusement for the locals.

Finally it isn’t my intention to insult CRT or anyone on this forum. I simply notice a lot of discussion on the topic, so figured it would be prudent to state our position.

Yes people swipe fotos from the gallery, some of us suggested anti-copying software years ago. Sure there's ways around that too but it would prevent most ordinary schmucks from simply copy & pasting them. Eventually most of us figure out to just not post pics anymore to avoid all the drama.
