Jeanette Misseldine, a lingerie designer, lives in Hertfordshire with her husband, Dale, with whom she founded No. 1 Bra (no1bra.com). They have two children, Mia, 12, and Theo, seven.
BUDGET LOCKDOWN LOCKS
In lockdown I began cutting my fringe at least once a week and now I’ll do it for evermore. I always felt unhappy with the way it was cut at the hairdresser’s. I also started covering my grey roots with Clairol Root Touch-Up Permanent Hair Dye (£5.99, boots.com). It lasts months and has saved me so much money.
DIY FACIAL MASSAGE
I’ve never had Botox or fillers, but I rub out my lines. I first tried it 20 years ago, when I’d forgotten my sunglasses on holiday and squinting left a big crease on my forehead. I rubbed at the wrinkle and it went down a lot. Now, I do it for five minutes every day. I’ve since realised this is similar to Chinese gua sha, which uses jade massage tools to improve circulation.

INVEST IN NIGHT CREAM
Each night, I apply Creme de la Mer’s La Mer Moisturiser (£130, cremedelamer.co.uk). It is incredibly thick, so you don’t need to use a lot. My skin is so soft when I wake up that I don’t need a moisturiser in the day. Instead, I apply Simple Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion (£3.80, boots.com), which I don’t rinse off.
OLDER MUM
I had my two children in my early 40s and running around with them keeps me younger. However, when I hit the menopause I was feeling more agitated and less patient, so I went on HRT. I got an oestrogen patch and progesterone tablet from my GP. I feel like myself again.
MENOPAUSE BRA
I’m a firm believer that the right bra can make you feel amazing. My No. 1 Bra brand uses a special under-wire that doesn’t dig in painfully. It has been a massive help since I began the menopause. My weight fluctuates so much during the day that I need a bra which will stretch comfortably.
