A word about the Roppongi and Shibuya touts. Meeting women is different in every country. I maintain that for the average Tokyo chap bars are not the way to go. Bars and clubs are the way most of us chaps are accustomed to meet women, but in Japan bars are very small and the numbersof gals limited. Japanese nightclubs (not the gaijin ones in Roppongi and environs) charge 3000 yen for entry and if you go outside you cantcome back in without paying again. A can of beer in Roppongi is about 1000 yen, poor value formoney considering the Jgal selection available.

Japanese women love shopping and Japan has far more shops than anywhere Ive been, take advaneforum.xxxe of it. I played nampa in the shops streets trains anywhere and it takes a lot of time and effort. One or two posters have derided me for it but far far more chaps have congratulated me. I am the first to admit that my results were not outstanding but they were better than before I started. Japan is an incredibly racist country but the racism is subtle, they wont beat you up, abuse you or spit on you in the streets they just wont rent you an apartment or let you into their bar or club. Try starting a business in Japan and you will appreciate why there is virtually no foreign investment (unlike China). Japanese racism is far worse in govt departments than in the private sector, this is why it is so institutionalized. Japanese racists are no greater a perceneforum.xxxe of the population than anywhere else and the average Japanese is probably less racist than the average Queenslander but the racists have carved out a niche in the govt and thus have influence way out of proportion to their numbers. Bar and brothel owners are also disproportionaly racist due to the fact that the Yakuza either directly owns or collects tribute from virtually all such establishments. Many Yakuza see themselves as the most traditional Japanese and dont want gaijin fucking "their women" even if those women are themselves gaijin.

I am traveling to Japan, about twice a year on business since 15 years. Bobcat's reports is very accurate. Let Aussieblue live in his dreamland. I have read Ozgaijin posts with great interest, and agree always with his statements.

This post is an excellent example of the typical experience of a 2 week visitor to Tokyo. Easy to find gals to date and talk to, not so easy to find sex. Nampa and Starbucks is more for the longer term resident rather than the 2 week tourist and I have always maintained in my posts that Japan isnt an easy country for sex...all I ever said was that it is better than Australia (not hard to be better than Oz).

Hi, was now 2 weeks for vacation in Japan. Mainly in Tokyo (and Kyoto). From my point of view, all this stories about picking up girls are not true, or I had bad luck.
