FRANKLIN, Ind. — The Franklin Police Department announced that it served search warrants at seven locations within and outside the city of Franklin on Thursday in relation to an investigation into “questionable business practices” at several massage parlors in Franklin.

According to a news release from the department, officials served warrants at three businesses and four homes believed to be connected to the investigation. The business locations included:

• The Sunshine Golden Spa, located on W. Jefferson St. in Franklin
• Sun Health Spa, located on W. Jefferson St. in Franklin
• Hong Kong Massage and Spa, located on N. Main St. in Franklin.

Officials said the warrants were obtained after “countless hours of investigatory work and support from the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office.”

Multiple law enforcement agencies reportedly helped serve the search warrants, including:

• Franklin Police Department
• Johnson County Sheriff’s Office
• Bargersville Police Department
• Greenwood Police Department
• Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

“The Franklin Police Department will continue to work closely with the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office to ensure that these businesses work within the scope of the law,” the release said.
