Frustrating First at Steeles Royale

I phoned in and made an appointment with Leanna. Got there significantly early (my appointment was for 3, I got there around 2:45). The receptionist was very nice and found a vacant room for me. She said Leanna would be another ten minutes. So I showered (about 5 minutes) and lay on the table and waited. And waited.
And waited.
I waited from 2:50 until about 3:30 (yes, 40 minutes). Finally I got back dressed and walked to the front. I actually almost walked out, but then remembered about the room fee so I waited (and waited) for the receptionist to come back up. Again, very pleasant lady. She said that maybe Leanna didn't hear when she was told I was there, not really sure how that works.
The receptionist apologized and asked if I wanted to still have a session with Leanna. At this point I'm practically out the door and just wasted almost an hour of my time on my first attempt at a massage.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm new and maybe long-time customers get better service, but I was completely unhappy. I guess I should give another spa a try, but not in the next couple of days anyway.

I was already a bit nervous, so maybe this event will calm my nerves a bit next time. It certainly set my expectations nice and low.

Let me recommend Kyra. She's INCREDIBLE. Now, you're not going to get kissing from most girls at SRM, and only a few offer extras, and I can't tell you who they are. But if you want a standard service session, and would like a petite chocolate girl who is a sweetheart, completely gorgeous, does a very talented body slide and has great hands, then Kyra's the girl to see.

I've had long waits with some girls at SRM. Within 10min of my shower, if she's not there, I'm putting my clothes back on and getting my money back. SRM has great front door staff, but some of there girls need better professionalism.

So when she called the ladies room to notify the mpa’s Of their appointments, she did not notify the girl I was there to see. She led me to the room and I waited about 5-10 minutes after my shower and called reception from the in room phone. A minute a two later the mos runs in and makes up for the wait.

Point is, mistakes happen and it could’ve been the receptionist who slipped.

They should have offered you a free room fee on your next visit. They do want to keep customers happy for repeat business.

In fairness, it's probably difficult to bring that situation back once the client is leaving. What could a receptionist even say at that point. She was apologetic, but I was definitely not going to chance waiting around another hour or so after already killing an hour of time at that point.

I don't know where the problem lies, but something went wrong. I guess by posting we can compare notes and see if this happens to anyone else.

I don't think it happened just because you're a new customer. You would think they would treat the new customers even better than the regulars, so they will repeat. I think it was the receptionist who forgot to tell her.

To update my original post, I did get back to Steeles and they completely remedied the situation, compensating another session.

I saw Asha who was incredible. I'd not only go back, but I'd see her again.
Further, I'll even attempt to see some of the ones recommended by others here.

They have a ridiculous volume of email, a receptionist told me that they don't bother with it any more because it's a lot of work and many times clients don't even reply after they respond. The churn on phone calls is much higher.
