I also plan to stay at Landmark International in Guangzhou during the Canton Fair period. I believe it`s a fairly new hotel which explains why not many people are aware of it. The Landmark Canton is much older.

My booking agent in Guangzhou assured me there was a Sauna in the Landmark International. That`s why i booked it in the first place! Otherwise i was supposed to book the Tianlun International Hotel which is nearby.

Let`s hope there`s definitely a sauna there.

I only know of it as the Landmark Hotel...It is a 4 star hotel located next to the Pearl River near Beijing Road..The Guangzhou Hotel is close by and there is also the Riverside Hotel next to the Pearl River a little ways away

there are two hotels name landmark, but not sure if they are affiliated, though. i believe the one you were referring to all along is the landmark canton hotel. i guess i can forget about your previous advice on massage places near the landmark.

Oh..one more thing I should tell you..are you going there by yourself? Be careful when you cross the streets as the cars will not stop for you. Even if there are signal lights watch for bicycles and turning cars. The hotel is very close to Beijing Road so you can walk there for shopping but very crowded..In the hotel there is a restaurant on the 39th floor and on the 2nd floor..prices are reasonable compared to HK hotels..I also ate in the hugh restaurant in the corner to the left hand side after you walk out of the hotel..Lots of fresh sea food and you can go look at it and choose..Fresh seafood is expensive but cheaper than in HK..if you don't eat the seafood then everything is quite cheap..Have fun..I have been to GZ many times but I do have friends to take me around and eat together as I find it no fun to eat by yourself

The train station is about 45 minutes to the hotel depending on traffic..Don't worry about taking public transportation to the hotel because the hotel has a shuttle bus in the train station to take you to the hotel and it is free.. After going through immigration and on walking out of the station you will see many hotel booth there..just go to the Landmark one..tell them and they will look you up and if you have reservation there they will take you to the hotel..It will take you from the hotel back to the train staion too if you are going back to HK after your stay.

Sorry...I don't know this hotel..I have only stayed in the Garden Hotel and the Landmark hotel.

There is a massage place..It is in the building next to the hotel..You can walk from the lobby of the hotel to that building and go to the 7th floor..foot and body massage only..no shower and you don't need to take off your clothing..very cheap..35 RMB an hour for body massage..you can purchase a book for 10 hours of massage for 300RMB..On the 3rd floor is a bar or something..I have not been in there though..maybe it is a pick up joint..

There is also a massage and sauna in the GuangZhou hotel..very close to the landmark hotel..There was a post here saying you can pick up the girls after they get off work there..That post is no longer here..I also saw a massage place in the Riverside Hotel..a short walk along the Pearl River..I have not been there either..That is all I know..but there are bars on the street along the river..I have not been there either as I don't drink but I do see girls standing outside the bar but maybe they work in the bar though..

Anyone has info on the Landmark International Hotel Guangzhou? Does it have an on-site massage place (regular and otherwise)? Are there any nearby parlours, barber shops, pickup joints, etc?

Agreed - I've stayed in a really nice hotel right in the Huanshidong Road financial/business district for only a little over 500 yuan, so somewhere more budget should be easy to get.

You will have no problem getting a hotel for 250-500 yuan a night..I stayed in the Landmark Hotel..4 star for 400 a night..The GuangZhou
Hotel very close by is only about 300 yuan..You should have no problem bring a girl to ur room

Hi all, will be in Southern china soon, (feb 7 to feb 21) and am looking in Guangzhou for an affordable, girl-friendly hotel, lets say between 250 and 500 Yuan a night.
