As the holiday season and the renewal of the winter travel season (after skipping one or two) draws closer, hobbyists might want to do a quick assessment of their financial priorities. Wouldn't be allowed to post this on CAF for sure. A hobby enhances our life experiences and has a positive impact on our mental and physical health and on our outlook on life. A habit, especially one that drains people financially, does not have a positive impact. How to know the difference? I always ask myself, will my next massage appointment result in enjoyment that will stay with me for the days that follow? If the joy evaporates immediately, chances are that the appointment was a result of an useless habit. Sometimes it is useful to not make that next appointment out of habit. Become more selective about how we spend money, who we spend it on. Develop other aspects of your life experiences. Invest. Save. And book our next massage appointment with more care. Make it a productive hobby, not a draining hobby.
