I am looking at a couple of courses, one being hot stone, and have found an option for an at home study option rather than having to travel to take the course.
For some courses I can see how in class would be essential. But I am looking at the hot stone course, and have already taken more aromatherapy than it teaches, have my level 2 reiki (taking level 3 this fall), took hydrotherapy in school, use it regularily and I feel like I understand more than just the basics of it. Am I just being egotistical?
I would think for something like NMT in class would be essential. I took ART and after taking the first course, could probably apply the rest, but the first in class was essential.
So after babbling a bit... when is in class preferred over home study, and where is it safe and not so safe?
