How accurate is this view of Etown CAF?

Heeee heeee heeee heeee!! Had quite a chuckle when I read this post.

So let's be objective and look at the review threads on etown massageplanet: (first 3 pages).

Since etown massageplanet has 2 sections: Edmonton Escorts and Edmonton Massage, I'll sub-divide the first 3 pages of each section and count up the REVIEW threads only (we'll leave out the 411 threads).

For the first 3 pages of Etown massageplanet Escorts section, I count 14 REVIEW threads on Asian gals, and 24 REVIEW threads on visiting escorts:

For the first 3 pages of Etown massageplanet Massage section, I count 30 REVIEW threads on the local MP girls.

So, a total of 68 REVIEW threads in total for the first 3 pages of etown massageplanet, of which 14 are on asian girls. Hmmmm...

The 14 asian review threads have been contributed by the following reviewers : (in no particular order)

Now, the 54 remaining REVIEW threads have been contributed by the following reviewers: (in no particular order):

To balance out this poster's view of massageplanet re: REVIEWS, I did a bit of research of the First 6 pages of etown Perb to see just how many reviews there actually are.

I use the first 6 pages on etown perb, because massageplanet reviews are divided into Escorts and Massage Parlours, (I've used the first 3 pages of both Escorts and Massage Parlours on massageplanet) while etown perb has everything thrown in to its site: Ads, Escort 411 enquiries, General Discussion threads, and actual REVIEWS.

Here are the numbers for the first 6 pages of Etown perb:

* SP Advertisements......................34
* 411 enquiries.............................15
* General Discussion type threads....29
* Actual REVIEWS.........................24

24 Review threads out of a total of 102 threads equals 23.5% of etown perb as actual reviews. 76.5 % of threads on etown perb is "other".

HMMMMMMM!!!!! 24 Reviews on etown perb, 68 Reviews on etown massageplanet!!

I'll let you guyz draw your own conclusions as to which board it is that has a "few miscellaneous odd reviews"..

It seems our modest little Etown massageplanet review site has quietly surpassed etown perb for actual REVIEW content.

For those of you who cross post your reviews on both massageplanet and Perb, I thank you for gracing us here on Etown massageplanet with your reviews, and I want you to know how much I appreciate your generosity and sharing.

For those of you who post your reviews exclusively here on massageplanet etown, thanks for your show of support and acceptance of our humble forum.

Etown perb is good for entertainment and SPs' advertising, but when it comes to Reviews and their visibility, I believe that the new perb advertising rule which allow for advertisers to "bump" their ads TWICE in a 24 hour period (instead of once, previously) will result in drowning out reviews.

Here's the next trend for the advertisers to get around this "Twice in 24 hours" Perb advertising rule:

a very smart SP advertiser could be opening 2 or 3 (not 1) advertising threads, and bumping up each thread every 12 hours, like clock-work. Also, a smart advertiser could bump up a Review thread on her services every 12 hours. She's allowed to do so (in addition to her ads), because, technically, a review thread is not an advertisement.

Then, a smart SP advertiser could recruit pooners to write reviews on her ladies if they were happy with her parlour by telling them about the perb site, and could then keep bumping their reviews frequently. Pretty soon, voila, almost every review thread and ad could be about that studio.

Hey, i'm not advocating this..just observing what's possible right now.

Pretty soon, you may only be able to see one review thread on a perb page. It's just a question of when.

There's not much the guyz can do about this..it's the Advertisers who pay the freight and call the shots, and instructions from Fred Z to the mods are probably to give first and ultimate priority to the paying customers (the ladies).

MOST of what you say is possible IS already happening. I really don't like having a swimming session wading through the sea of advertisements to see a single review... If I want to check out ads, that is what the advert section is for.

I just don't get WHY the advertisers post in the REVIEW area, when there is already a SEPARATE section for Edmonton advertisements. PLUS there is another SEPARATE section for discussions. Yet, as you can see the REVIEW section is rarely just reviews.

If someone posts anything other than a review, the thread should be moved. If threads can be moved on other sites, I don't understand why no one seems able to move these ads. They are certainly able to delete posts, threads and members lol.

It's because advertising is allowed in the Review area, that SPs will do so. Many advantages to this for the advertising girls:

* More visibility and more eyes to view their ad.

* 100% guarantee that someone will comment on their ad, and other posters will follow. Every post ensures added exposure and visibility. Wonderful for the advertising SP.

* as for a Separate section for discussions, I don't believe that anyone has ever complained about separating out these threads from the Review section, so since perb is "self-policing", they remain there.



the answer is Money!!

Etown perb is a very small part of Fred's revenue stream, and the 2 overworked Mods work for free (I'm presuming). So if anyone from Etown is complaining, they get very little attention .

It is not worth while financially for Fred and the mods to do anything about it.

And, he probably (assumption on my part here) figures you guys got nowhere else to turn to, anyways. He's got you guyz by the nuts, since he'll ban anyone who promotes or provides links to other boards.



You think we could be having this discussion about massageplanet on perb??...our asses would be banned instantaneously!!

Heck, if even the Advertisers can't get Fred to respond to them, (takes weeks and forever to get to Red status), what hope does the non-paying guests (i.e. Reviewers) have of separating out the ads, 411 queries and Gen Discussion threads from the Review Section.?

Also, the Advertisers have no desire to have these separated out. The more discussion, drama and flamefests in the Review section, the bigger the audience for their ADS.

BTW, allowing all of the different types of threads to be thrown together is a BRILLIANT marketing strategy by Fred!! The more of a slugfest, roiling, wham bam knock em down, Jerry Springer/Maury, interactive SP/Pooners type forum you have, the more eyes you gather and the more advertising demand you create. Simply put, Flaming and Drama leads to Readership, which leads to greater Stats and Advertisements.

If i were Fred, I would NEVER separate out the different type of threads..Why would he want a quiet, civilized forum?? Besides, it's too much work for the Mods, and the PRIMARY purpose of Mods on perb is to BAN UNPAID ADVERTISERS. Look at Perbatory to see who's being banned.

The main reason excessively flaming pooners get banned is because they disrupt the revenue stream by taking attention away from the advertisers. Also, their bans are only temporary...can't let those revenue generating flamers get away..

Money...it's all about the money...follow the Money trail!!

entirely predictable once the advertisers were allowed to update their ads every 12 hours instead of every 24 hours.
