Yeah, I've been saving a ton of money.

That's actually been the case for me. During the last lockdown, a couple of my faves stopped working so I found some new gems who are now part of my regular rotation, and then I found more, and then my faves started working again...well, you get the idea.

Financially no difference. The $$$ saved from the winter/spring lockdown I spent on an Xbox Series X. I'd also buy a Playstation 5 if I could get one. I guess in that sense I did save money since I would've been seeing SPs and MPAs and buying the XSX and PS5 even if there was no pandemic.

Probably better- rich people weren’t lying about multiple streams of revenue. I do not have the personality to deal with the bull shit of a 9-5. The amount of times I wanted to tell off my boss, probably would’ve called the cops if I coulda spoke to them the way I really wanted too. Lol

Doing fine. It's the ones I know who are in danger of losing everything they have which is why it pisses me off how flippantly people call for lockdowns because it doesn't affect them financially or just dismiss small business people as collateral damage for a greater good.

Pandemic has been good for my business. I’ve spent a lot less hobbying because I’m too worried to catch the virus. My heart goes out to those struggling and I hope everyone makes it out of this in one piece.

What multiple streams of income?

While I don’t know specifically what he was referring to for rich people but that likely includes:

• Income from several businesses or income from being on the board of directors of companies
• Rental income from owing several properties where tenants still have the ability to pay lease/rent
• Investment income such as from owning corporate bonds that pay a fixed interest amount or stocks that pay dividends
• Pension income or other social benefits

For non-rich people, maybe they had a hobby or idea to help out society that they then turned into a small business or other secondary source of income whether it be art, design and fashion, carpentry, furniture making, consulting work, etc.

or maybe they are Adam Skelly and caused a public stir then raise over $300k on Gofundme.

multiple part time jobs and investments right now. I’m not rich just making more than avg. Just saying I see how it works. You really need an elite skill/ talent to be rich, other than inheritance in which you would just need to be born. Even if you have talent/skill you need some luck (and preparation) to get noticed or happen to be in the right place at the right timeJust from what I’ve seen thus far.

also take whatever social benefits the govt offers. The rich do this all the time, they are clearly not above taking govt money as seen in corporate bailouts. Since I’m an independent contractor now I got an accountant who will expense damn near all my living cost which I couldn’t do when I had a 9-5. This results in me having more cash and I debate if I should blow it on the hobby or invest it. On paper I’m making less (net income) but my bank account states otherwise.

smoke rich dude in Vegas laughed at me once cuz I didn’t have money as him and was unsure how to get that rich(jerk lol). I asked him how can I do it and his answer was “find an opportunity and capitalize “.
