Figured I'd leave a review for anyone interested.
I went last week, the last thread JS posted that resulted in back and forth arguments, new accounts and fake reviews, along with just the overall confusion of what sort of a place it was really intrigued me (or maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment). I figured, either it was legit in which case I can use my remaining benefits for the year, or it's the other kind of place, in which case I can have some fun. I'm in a completely different part of the city however so it took me a while to get there.
The front entrance opens right onto 16th Ave so those who value discretion may want to look elsewhere, they may have a back entrance but there was a car loitering with it's lights on at the rear of the building so I didn't explore that option too much.
Inside, it looks like a travel agency (there was a sign outside implying it may have once been one or still is). Lots of desks all over the entrance with different ladies sitting at each one. I was asked to sign in, I provided a fake name and they wrote it in a book (another potential discretion concern but it wasn't like they asked for my driver's). I was told it was $90 for an hour which seemed like a great rate and was lead to one of the rooms.
A note about the ladies, they are all young and attractive. That part is very much true and there does seem to be a good variety there as well from what I could tell. The girl I had, spoke English and there were no communication problems but not sure if that's the norm with all of them.
At this stage, I was still very confused as to what sort of place this was. No one was dressed provocatively, they clearly advertised receipts and seemed to offer more traditional techniques like Hot Stone, there were photos on the wall of different massage techniques and diagrams. It looked like a slightly more rundown version of a more professional place.
The room itself was small, but not cramped and no draping was provided. Now I was thinking maybe this place was less legit than I thought but I was still on the fence. There was a massage going on in the other room and there wasn't a lot of sound proofing. I could clearly hear what was being said.
The massage itself was... Awful. At least in the traditional sense. The girl came in and asked the traditional RMT questions, where should she focus, how much pressure, any areas to avoid, and then completely did nothing with that information. I've been to dozens of legit and non-legit places and this was probably the worst massage I've ever had. The girl, by her own admission had no idea what she was doing. Not a lot of pressure, tons of oil and seemed to just push on random places on my body.
As bad as the massage was, I will say, I found it... Not entirely unpleasant. If you're going because you actually value a massage then this is an easy skip. If you're going because you want an oil rubdown from an attractive girl than this place still holds some value for you.
She asked me to turn over and continued the same process on my front. Up until this point there was no discussion about extras, and I was still so confused I didn't feel comfortable to ask. At no point was there any teasing or even accidental grazes that would lead one to assume anything more was offered. After about 5 minutes post-flip she finally broached the topic. The extras offered seem to be on a per-girl basis. The one I had offered just a basic HE and topless. I said yes to both and the fun began.
The girl was stunning, again this part of the ad is very much true, by far one of the prettiest providers I've ever had. She was about as experienced with this side of things as she was with massage however. Very slow, quite uncertain and basically just the one technique. I made a couple of requests and coaching remarks and that sped things up a bit. A little more massage after and the session was over.
So TL;DR is this place a recommendation? Honestly, it's taken me a week to figure that out. If you've read up until this point you're probably thinking no. And if I had to land on a binary answer I would probably say no too. But there was something... Genuine about the whole experience that I found really intriguing. These girls are obviously not pros and probably have no business even offering services for the prices they're offering them at (as low as they are). But it did feel like spending time with a real human being which is something rare in this field.
Of course YMMV and different providers may have different levels of skill or offering. I'm still very much on the fence about repeating. But considering the level of service was so low, I tip my hat to the place that I'm even still on the fence to begin with.
