SIDNEY — Joni Clark opened a new business in Sidney. Joni’s Stretching Massages LLC is located at 500 E. Court Street, Building B in the Valentinez Spa.
Clark believes it is important when doing massages to stretch the limbs, helping her clients feel better. The business name highlights this philosophy.
Clark does relaxing, therapeutic, hot stone, deep tissue, chair massages — she described her offerings as “a little bit of everything.” She says her favorite massages to offer are therapeutic and hot stone, but she is skilled at all types. She offers 30, 60 and 90 minute massages.
Clark said, “I love being able to help people, work on their trigger points, release tight muscles and see them walk better when they leave. I love helping people. I have the hands of a healer and I believe massage can help improve quality of life.”
Clark’s goal is to have a very peaceful environment, where people can leave their stress behind when they get on the massage table and begin to decompress. She said she has many repeat customers who describe her room as warm and inviting. Her room is a welcoming place, with relaxing music, soft lighting and a table warmer.
Clark graduated from the Dayton School of Massage in Lima two years ago. She has been in the medical field, working as a STNA, for 30 years.
Joni’s Stretching Massages is open Friday and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment only. Clark can also work with client schedules. Appointments can be made by calling 937-419-1060 or by Googling “Massagebook Joni Clark” and making an appointment on the link.
