I've just qualified (VTCT Swedish Massage) and haven't sorted out insurance yet. I have also not worked on any paying clients (obviously) only family and clients at college.
My neighbour's daughter has just had a baby & is very stressed and tense because the baby has a medical problem. She will have an op in a few months which will sort it though. It's her first baby and she's very upset.
Anyway, I thought it might be a nice gesture to offer her a freebie massage to help her unwind. I know her really well. I just thought maybe back, neck & shoulders.
I'd really like to have a room at home solely for massage and this may be some time down the line so I haven't rushed into finding work & insurance.
Would it be OK to give her a freebie massage as a friend? I just feel she's had a rough time and needs a bit of a pamper.
