If u r a LadyBoy fan u will not be disappointed........remember as soon as u make eye contact with one of them, she will hassle u for at least the next 30mins to go with her !......so my suggestion is take your time and dont get too pissed.

I don't go near them since the 1st nite here, when l flirted with one for a while and when l told her l was off, she stubbed her cigarette into my arm.....l just walked away and shook my head.....they can be quite troublesome from what l have read on this forum, thus l was not surprised when that happened.

Try to stick to the same rule of thumb regarding any ladies you pick up.

If you pick freelancers from the street or from disco's, you run slightly more risk of an unpleasant outcome.

This is not to say all freelancers are thieves and vagabonds as i have had many good experiences with ladies i found away from bars and had no trouble with them stealing from me or giving me hassle.

One way to help protect yourself is to take ladyboys from the bars at Soi Crocodile and Cocktails & Dreams bar underneath Tiger disco.

This way at least you have a way of tracing them if you have big problems, there is a tourist police office in patong who are there to help farang out in times of trouble.

You can also speak to your hotel staff and inform them that you want them to take the ID card of the guests you bring back each night , they will be able to log the details of the card so that there is a record of that person.

Finally , you can usually tell the type that is high on drugs and a little dodgy looking from the honest types , trust your instincts and don't be ruled by the smaller brain in your penis/combined with beer goggles.

Be careful with ladyboys. When I was in Patong in July a couple of the BG's that I hooked with said there was alot of problems with lady boys stealing purses and hand bags of the bar girls in the Tiger disco.

I saw a great fight one night on Bangla road about 1pm between a bar girl and a ladyboy. Apparently the ladyboy put his hand into the bar girls handbag to try and take her purse however the bar girls' friend caught the ladyboy and a very vicious fight followed. The end result was two bar girls literally kicking the ass of the ladyboy to kingdom come.

Anyway bottom line is just be careful and take note of any valuables you have just in case............better to be safe than sorry

I think its wrong to listen to bg`s and what they have to say about ladyboys.
I think the reason why they speak bad of the ladyboys is that thay are scared to loose face. To loose a coustomer to another bargirl make them look bad, but loosing a coustomer to a ladyboy is as deep as they can sink.
I`ve talket to a lot of ladyboys and most of them seem more honest and nice than many bg`s can bee.

I have found lb's nothing but pleasant people to know so far.

Just a quick word of advice...Keep away from the beachroad "after hours"!!
Too many stories about robberies and assults with LB:s involved.
As mentioned before find the most stunning LB:S at Soi Tiger (under Tiger Disco) and Katoeys R us or Soi Crocodile.

I had ones a good exprerience "after hours" with a lB! It was waving at me when I was on the bike! Hey looked a nice peace of a*s! On the beach-road, but in karon

When I came closer by, it was obvious (but not THAT obvious) that it was a LB!

I did not wanted to hurt his feelings by going away immeadetely, so i had a short chat with it (him/her, whatever!)

Very sweet person, but after a few minutes I had to say "have to go, my gf is waiting in the room"!

It said: "Then you have to go, you can't let her wait!"

I said "I know that you are LB, but you are very sweet" But I regreted that it/he /she was obviously dissapointed that I noticed!

i am not into LB, but I amsure there are some nice persons among them! And guess what? i will never try to delibretely hurt them! They need maybe more affedction then anyone else!

They all become very easy victims...

Going with lb's near the beach is a risky business as you say but there is no need for anyone who wants to try lb's to do this.

Stick to the beer bars with lb's and make sure they hand ID over to the hotel reception and you will be less likely to have problems
