Laem Singh Beach Party

Every Sunday during high season. As you walk down the hill path to the beach, head to your left (south end of beach).

There is a restaurant and also a bar with DJ playing House music.

I went yesterday just before sunset, but I think it starts around 3pm, and it goes on through the evening. It was busy, about 200 people, although there was a wedding party of 50 so probably not that busy every week.

There was a good mix of people even a few kids, with a great atmosphere, plenty people up dancing.... I decided not to swing a wicked hip and just laid on the lounger, beer in hand, watching the lovely ladies!

Used to really like going down there on a Sunday, always different crowd every week. great to watch the sunset and then as they put out the burning torches on the beach a really nice atmosphere. There are 3 restaurants there as well so you can eat, drink, dance and be merry.

I only stopped going when they allowed the jet ski boys into the cove, it spoilt it a little for me as it was so much more serene before they came and they had to start roping off area's of the sea.

The old days it started about 3pm and went on until about 8/9pm?? not sure if same times now.

To get there you go through Kamala in the the direction of Surin, halfway on the lefthand side you will all of sudden see loads of bikes and cars parked, think the enterprising Thai guy charges 20 baht to park and then its down steep steps to the beach, thoroughly recommend it for a different start to the night whilst here on holiday.

Just got back from a meeting in Bang Tao and the parking is getting a bit cramped at the top of the hill down to Leam Sing Beach.

Trusty Thai parking bloke has doubled his 'looking after your bike' fee......Bless him..........Bloody credit crunch. Tch! h:

One of the islands best kept secrets. Quite off the beaten track and always a good crowd. If you have your own wax they normally let you have a spin.

The walk back up the hill is a bit iffy, especially after a few cocktails!

555555555 Only did it the once, I was fcuked!!! Then got to know one of the bar owners down there and he lets me use the "Re-Supply" special Thai "If I tell you, I'll have to kill you" route on the 'Flying Pig'...........Phew!:aww:

There is a new route which I think is much easier.

Just to the right of the bar, the first bit is steep but after that the trail is a lot more gradual. When you get to the top you hit the road and turn left back to the motorbike parking area.

Whent there yesterday and there were some real stunners dancing around in G-Strings!!!
