Learning in China

Hi. I'm currently located in the UK but my family might be moving to China for a couple of years but the details haven't yet been finalised. I am thinking of going with them if there is a chance for me to learn to practice acupuncture while there. The only problem is that I don't know Chinese.

Is there any way I can find out if English-taught courses in acupuncture are available anywhere in China? Or are there any other places I might try asking? Thanks for your help.

what a wonderful opportunity! I did a quick search on Google, and there seems to be a few, depending on where abouts in CHina you will be.

Is one that cropped up - try a search specifying the location perhaps? Or try contacting an organisation over here before you go - I am sure they will be able to give you in depth information.

My physio done this a year ago, she went out for two week (one was for the course) and said that it was really great - they spoke english and she had a lot if support, she also said taht it was very hard work as they make you do homework amounting to about 3 hours each night you are there!

She has the certificates etc but says that they may not be recognised in the UK so she has to do some over here as well.

I would love to go and learn martial arts out there but it is a 3 year programme where you are not automatically chosen to be there!
