So there is this girl I dated in high school for a whole month... (long time right?)
Here we are 10 years later and I stumble upon her online and get reacquainted. Turns out she had a kid whom is 5 years old, no biggie IMO... Just means I'd never be a #1. Anyway We chat online everyday and SHE is the one that starts the chats most of the time. (sometimes flirty and sometimes just how was your day stuff)
Well I've asked her if she wanted to go do something together on numerous occasions. One of those times it was off a whim to go get some ice cream on the same day, well she was unfortunately tipsy at the time. The other time I asked in advance to see if you she would like to get some coffee. (She was busy) I have no doubt she's usually busy having a kid and all, but so busy she can't spare an hour or two on the weekends when her kid is with the father?
Knowing all of this I just formally email her and essentially put the ball in her court; I ask her if she would like to go do something that weekend or within the next week to call me. (Note we still chat online daily at this point, and it wasn't until a week later that I asked if she got the email I sent. She didn't get it and said she will let me know) About this time her kid started his first year of school and she started a new temp job. So things were abnormally busy, understandable.
A month later, we still chat it up daily with her beginning most of the conversations... But no call or mention of going to do anything. (Note she has had my phone number since I first reconnected with her. I do not have hers, and I have not asked for it due to her current living situation)
10 years later and 3+ months after reacquainting with each other, I still haven't seen her (sans photos) or even heard her voice... (If this was anyone else w/o a kid, I would first be getting a phone number, and then asking the person on a casual short outing 2 times MAX before giving up...)
//----------
** Q) Should I just start to ignore her messages to get a response out of her, or should I ask her why we haven't met or talked on the phone in extremely awkward conversation that I would thoroughly like to avoid? Something else? Suggestions? Snow cones anyone?
