Massachusetts reported no new coronavirus deaths Tuesday for the first time in months, another positive indicator in public health data as the state continues its phased reopening process. On June 22, Massachusetts moved ahead with part two of Phase Two, allowing for the return to indoor seating at restaurants and close-contact services such as nail salons, massage therapy clinics, and tattoo parlors. Governor Baker may announce the beginning of Phase Three โ which would include smaller movie theatres, museums and aquariums โ as soon as next week. These local changes come as more than a dozen other states have paused or rolled back their reopening plans due to new spikes in infections. To discuss, Jim Braude was joined by Dana Bonner, co-owner of the Pink & Pretty nail salon in Dorchester, which is now open; and Lisa Gorman, co-owner of 360 NeuroMuscular Therapy in Waltham, which is not.
