GARLAND, Texas - The owner of a massage establishment that was closed earlier this month has agreed to leave the massage industry.
The establishment was shuddered by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation after the owner was suspected of human trafficking.
Has agreed to close the establishment and to permanently quit the massage industry in Texas.
Authorities had issued a 6-month 'Emergency Closure Order' For LSP Relax Spa in Garland for suspected human trafficking.
Without admitting to, or denying the allegations, the owner signed a settlement agreement to permanently lose his license and a life-long ban from owning or managing a massage establishment in Texas.
Back in April, an inspector found employees were wearing sexually provocative clothes and also found several condoms.
We're also told that two of the three employees providing massages were not licensed massage therapists in Texas.
