MPs with Discrete Entrance?

I happened to be travelling through Woodbridge today and finally made it out to HFH. Very nice time ... saw Jessica ... would repeat in the blink of an eye (but, no, that's not a review - in light of the NRP - it's just an expression on how fast my eyelid moves).

What got me thinkin' though, was that HFH is in your typical "strip mall" or business centre, except that it (a) faces onto Strada Boulevard which is a fairly busy road and (b) across from it is another strip mall on the other side of the street. There's no rear access door, so it's not the most discrete of ways to enter and exit. I'm a Toronto boy, so the chances of it happening outside of Toronto are low, but I'm always worried that I'll run into someone nearby who'll say "Why Hello Colonel! What are you doing here?!" or who will see me and then I've got some explaining to the boss-man who would be more than interested to know why it really took me so long to get out to that meeting.

When I think of other places besides HFH, they're not much better. Bliss is in a strip mall and it's in a corner, so you can't even say "oh, I was just going to Ho Lee Chow over there" with any chance of being believed. Platinum has you walking past the paesans at the car place. AC has you going into an office building, but AC is the only thing on its floor so you either take the elevator and everyone else in the elevator knows where you're going, or you wait around the lobby and they all suspect it just the same - or you go at night and it's obvious that it's the only place open. Bodybliss is a little better, but it's also stuck in a corner. BP is terrible if you're crazy enough to go in the front door, but the back door isn't much better since it's so close to the street and it's a surprisingly busy alley way that backs onto a residential area. SRM is absolutely perfect for nights since it's tucked in the back of the commercial complex and nobody else is open. However, since most of my windows of opportunity arise during the day, SRM is not as good (although still better than the rest) since the other businesses are open.

When I really stop and think about it, I can't think of any decent places that have truly discrete entrances / exits. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I know that Plush is supposed to have a rear entrance, so any thoughts on how discrete it really is would also be appreciated.

Body and Soul and SRM are in strip mall/industrial areas where you have to go near the back of a parking lot so you are not likely to be spotted.

Pickering Angels is located on a side road but the lot is out in the open.

Studio 9 is on a side street as well.



Realistically though all spas are out in the open to one degree or another just go to an area where people you know are less likely to be. The cover of night helps too I suppose.

But if you are worried about being spotted that should only be if you have a SO and if that's the case you are playing with fire in my opinion (mind you plenty of dudes tempt fate).

It's not a SO issue for me (although I'm sure that those who are tempting fate might be interested in this thread also). Rather, I'm a business advisor with many clients who, in part, have to put their trust in my integrity. While I don't believe that my hobbying affects my integrity in any way, sometimes perception is more important than reality, so if I can avoid any embarrassment or issues with the boss-man, then it makes my life easier.

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Good thread, Colonel - discretion has always been a big part of the decision for me. In fact, I have oten chosen a worse MP and worse MPA if there is a lot more privacy going in. But it's leaving that I find most stressful. Going in you can choose a moment when noone is around, but leaving, you don't know who is out there. I like places like Lucy on Mt. Pleasant where the only signage is up in the 2nd floor where people rarely look anyhow, so you just go through a completely 'unmarked' door and that's that.

I go to a few places in Hamilton, where there is a side or back door making me feel completely at ease with the coming and going. And of course independents in apartment buildings are good too. Houses I find a bit more public.

If you want discrete try either Elite Spa or Oasis, both in Scarborough.

Elite Spa is located at the back of an industrial complex, and Oasis is located on the lower level of large strip plaza which faces no street. Unfortunately, the MPA line-ups at both places are nothing like Platinum, BP, or HFH (my favourite line-up).

But, Allure (located at the side entrance of an industrial plaza) is discrete and has a stellar line-up of MPAs.

IMHO, HFH should have a rear entrance, but not having one won't stop me from visiting them - the selection of MPAs is too good to pass up. And, if I want to be discrete, I can always go to SRM or Allure - with great MPAs too.

Plush Spa has promotes a "discrete rear entrance" (let the jokes begin ...).

I haven't been there in a while but subject to construction/renovation in the area, I would presume that this entrance still exists.

Allure is on the side of a plaza in an industrial area. The building is not busy and therefore discrete.

Ajax spas are 50-50. The one on Harwood north of 401 does have a back door but it is fairly obvious where you are going when you turn into the driveway.

The two down by Station road are polar opposites. The one by the Beer Store is wide open, no privacy for parking your car or entering. The one across the street (western side) has parking in front but you can park aroudn back and enter via back door.

Barr Rd was too exposed. There is also a fairly rough Chinese lady on Westney south of Bayly who has back door entrance.

Lawrence / Dufferin spas are too exposed IMO as are the 3 on Wilson that I have been too...Edam, Natasha and one other, name is gone from my RAM.

Blue Pearl (Dufferin & Wilson) has rear entrance from the alley way. If you're
brave enough to venture through the dark corners of city, you'll be able to
enter unseen for sure!

actually more people are walking on the street at the back entrance of BP. I went through the back entrance one time and two young girls walking there dog and see me going in and one of the girl commented "going for a hand job?"
