National exam study guides - help!!!!!!!

I just received notification that I can take my national exam and to be honest I scheduled it for the first available date and now I am stressing out!!!!! The exam is coming up and truthfully I do not feel that my school did justice to the educational process that needed to be met (I have a bachelors and masters degree and so I know what the educational process and preparing people for exams is like and this school fell VERY short).

So, here is my dilemma and question. I have two study guides with cd roms. I have the Laura Allen one, and when I take the sample exams I pass with flying colors. My lowest score yet is an 85% and highest has been a 94%. I felt very confident with this and felt confident of my abilities to take the national exam.

I also have the Mosby's study guide and when I take those exams I feel like they are all way over my head and I have yet to pass one of the exams. I averaget about a 69% with this cd rom

Does anyone know which cd/study guide the national exam seems to follow? With the Allen one I feel smart and confident, but the Mosby's I feel so dumb and like I am fumbling through.

Please help - quick as I take my exam in a few days and I am panicking!!!!!

I am not familiar with either of those books, but the Ashton/Cassell book is pretty darn fabulous. I don't have the exact title, since I loaned my copy to a friend, but I am sure you could google it or find it on Amazon if you are interested.

Ditto on that one. I didn't care for the Moseby book. It's too wordy and confusing. I found that the questions in the Ashton/Cassell book to be much more like the certs test. Keep us informed and good luck!

Thank you - it really helps to know that this book was too wordy and confusing because that is what I kept thinking. Like I said, the tests I took with this book I was doing miserably on.

I used a book I bought off of Amazon called Don't Panic! Questions & Answers To Help You Pass The Massage Therapy National Exam. It was like $20.

I'm using Ashton's Review for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Certification per a half dozen other MT's recommendation. I think and hear that it's perfect for the NCE but haven't heard anything about how it preps for the MBLEx.

The only book I studied was the green spiral bound guide by Lippencott WW publications. Don't skim read the Chinese medicine section
