I second your reaction.
Many times I either asked via a sms or email message to verify the picture in the add is real, and if not, send me a recent picture... 99% of the time, I get either no response, or a response fessing up it is not a real picture..
If I get a response, there is no picture, and when I ask for one, most time not another response,, or if I get one, not anywhere near the same girl...

bottom line,
you need to see them, then make a choice..

or if not, late at night, that thing between your legs will most likely make an unwise decision...

I like what I read in the "Be a player" section. What is the significance of age difference in attractiveness to the local young women (20-30 y/olds). I'm 49 and this is not an issue in South East Asia, were I have had many young women. What about China?

And ya, a hyperlinked table of contents in the introduction is a must.

A lot of good info here. I would add some warnings about being asked to go to a lady bars, and having a few drinks and then getting a bill for 3000 RMB.
Then when you argue, 4 big guys show up in the room.

Thanks for the detailed review and feedback! We started with using Pinyin but it was just too confusing to someone who had never been exposed to it before (at least in our test group), so we moved to sudo-phonetic pronunciation.

We will also be adding a contents page based on your feedback.

Some excellent advice here. I found a couple of minor grammar errors, but that's just being picky! Actually, after reading the first page I thought "this information is too general and a bit useless". However after reading through to the final page, I was very, very impressed and would recommend this piece of writing to anybody looking to visit China for the first time. A *contents* page at the start wouldn't go astray

My only real criticism would be the use of phonetics rather than Pinyin. From memory, the word for comfortable (if I have the context correct) should be shu fu (first tone, first tone). I found the Mandarin expressions page a bit awkward. Although it is written in characters as well, I think Pinyin with an explanation of the tones would be better.

Well done in the emphasis on avoiding scams and negotiating *before* receiving services. It really shows you know your stuff and aren't just writing about the benefits of sex in China. Too often I read advice which does not go far enough in warning foreigners of the scams faced. Westerners really have to take extra care abroad - but particularly in China.
