Hi Guys,

First time in LOS and Currently staying at the Millenium in Patong with the missus and want to show her a good time from all the stories I've heard about NYE in patong!

What or where do you guys recommend we do or go? Our hotel has a gala dinner but that sounds a bit boring.

From what I can tell Bangla road and the beach is where to be but i'm assuming 11pm is a good time to head out there so is there anything on from now till 11pm that I can take her?

Also where is the main countdown? or is it just whichever/whatever drinking hole you find yourself in?

Yep, countdowns where ever you and the handbrake happen to be at the time, bar, out on the street(bangla) or beach.

Loads setting off for the 'Tong' from the Club last night. Not sure what they paid to get back but were being quoted 800 to get there.

Prolly! Eh! They have been doing it forever! Nothing new! I asked a couple of drivers for a price and none would do it for less than 800. Pointless driving in, trying to find somewhere to park and be tempted then to drive back wankered.

Long Ma Doo was "All ladies drink for free after Midnight" anyway......So I stuck a wig on and went!

Surprisingly empty though considering the offer. I must admit me and Si debated what he was actually going to serve to the ladies for 'free' after midnight and we were guessing it wasn't going to be double 'legit' Vodka's and redbulls!
