She is often compared to the doll with her long blonde hair, slim figure, extensive wardrobe and her love of pink. And if we ever suspected that Paris Hilton secretly wanted to be Barbie, then this pictures are all the proof we needed.
The hotel heiress was snapped arriving back at her Beverly Hills home and looked every inch like the little girl's doll with her long blonde hair, bling and bright pink car.

Barbie would be proud: Wearing big white-rimmed sunglasses, Paris Hilton parks her pink Bentley and heads inside her LA mansion clutching her tiny pet dogs


Paris, who turns 30 next month, returned from a day out in Los Angeles, clutching her pet Chihuahuas Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.

She wore skinny blue jeans - ripped on purpose, naturally - towering platform heels, huge white-rimmed sunglasses and a grey top held together with a big black belt.
She'd even blinged up Tinkerbell who wore a pin-striped top and a diamante collar.

But it was the pink Bentley Continental GT: that really stood out as the ultimate Barbie accessory.

Paris treated herself to the $200,000 vehicle as a Christmas present to herself in 2008.

The cherry blossom pink is also on the sheet metal, grille, hubcaps and most of the interior while her initials in diamonds - pink, of course, adorn the seats and the bonnet. What a way to wreck an otherwise nice car...

Paris looked even more like her plastic idol last Thursday when she attended the NBC Universal 2011 Winter TCA Press Tour All-Star Party in Pasadena, California.
Her long, platinum blonde hair cascaded around her heavily made-up face as she posed for the cameras on arrival.
She was at the event to promote her new reality TV show, The World According To Paris, which airs in the spring. :beurk:


She will star in the show, which will follow her life around the clock, alongside her mother Kathy and her friend, Charlie Sheen's estranged wife Brooke Mueller.
Paris told the NBC event: '"The World According to Paris" is all about my life, all about my friends and everything crazy that happens, so I’m very excited and I cannot wait.'

She also spoke about her boyfriend Cy Waits and said: 'I’m so happy, he’s an amazing man, I feel very lucky.'

Somebody better take those dogs away from her before she paints them pink.

it isn't so much the amount of sex that kids are exposed to, or that our society has become sexualized, that isn't the problem. It is how they are taught to deal with it....and that's where the parents step in. It's ok to have sex, but responsibly.

Any parent of any teen girl who isn't on the pill ought to be taken out to the back room and bitch slapped. seriously. I think it should be mandatory, maybe even a bylaw, no matter what the religion, that any teen female who is of "breeding" age (for lack of a better term) should be put on the pill or some other form of birth control.

When I was 15, and I had a steady gf, we became sexually active and my parents encouraged us to a) do it in the basement and b) spoke to BOTh of us about birth control and even before that, I made sure my gf was on the pill. Then the second GF I took her to MY doctor and had her go on the pill. She wouldn't go to her doctor because he might tell her parents. I said "if he did, he could lose his licence for breach of patient/doctor priviledge.

Being a parent, if I found another parent supplying booze to kids at parties? I'd be on the phone to the cops asap. Now at home? that's another story. I remember my dad giving me the odd beer once in a while and he said: if you're going to drink, you're going to do it at home. If I had a buddy over? Nope, the buddy would have to call his parents and my dad would check with them first. Then it was only ONE.

As per that 70's show, my basement was THE hang out place and believe me, my parents kept a close eye on us.

The Stripper Pole thing: that's my pont exactly. It is ok to be sexually active, but have some self respect. When you're 18, and can make your own decisions, then if you want to strip, then so be it. It is almost like it is cool to be a tramp, cool to be ghetto. I tried to instill some sense of morality to my niece, but it fell on deaf ears.

A buddy of mine had 2 teen daughters. I said to him one day: are they on the pill? oh noooOOoooOOooo they aren't interested in BOYS noooOOoooOoooo I said "you're a bonehead" and sure enuff, not 2 weeks after I said this his daughter posted on her facebook page that she had a BF and there were pictures of them making out at a garage party with empty beer bottles everywhere.....bonehead dumbfuck idiot.......

I'm not a parent and there are those that blasted me saying "you don't know how it is...." sure, but being on the outside looking in my sight isn't shaded by any parental relationship.....what's that saying? I can see the forest AND the trees.......

I've said this before: one of my previous jobs was in the trade show industry. One of the booths I worked on was to bring attention to the plight of street kids. The agency involved polled a large number of street kids and had them write their story down. I read a bunch of them. You know, I'd say easily 80% of them ran away because their parents were to strict? Because (one wrote) her parents FORCED her to do chores around the house AND do homework...OMFG the horror...the horror....so now she's eating out of garbage cans and has herpes......

I think one of the biggest issues is the fact that everyone is afraid to do what needs to be done in regards to kids and bad behaviour. Parents are afraid they'll run away, cops won't do a thing, in my day? You stepped out of line, the parents would have no problem beating the crap outta you. If you ran away? They called the cops, the cops tracked you down, and brought you back ASAP. I remember during the high school teachers strike, a buddy and I were walking down the street and the cops stopped us and made sure we weren't playing hookie......

Now I'm not saying what my parents did was totally right, but it wasn't totally wrong either. I mean, if I came home and said I got a girl pregnant or a class mate got pregnant? OMFG the shame attached to it......you'd never see that girl again. Now? they are celebrated and supported and coddled and they even have daycare in fricken highschools. IMO THAT is the wrong thing to do......When I was in my late 30's, I had a neighbour who was a grandmother at 30....I was invited to her daughter's wedding at 16....the daughter was pregnant. HOLY FUCK......now I can pretty much guarantee you that the granddaughter who should be 15 by now? I bet she's pregnant now too......the cycle continues.....
