Last week I was mugged and put in a choke hold and they got my money and my cell phone and my keys and my passcard. So I finally got around to going to the US passport Center on Midway Drive in San Diego an official US Postoffice. Okay, I had been originally issued my passcard and my new passport only a few months ago. So now I have to go down to the post office, to an official passport agency. I had all my forms filled out, then they looked at the photos that I had stapled to the forms and they said they were no good because they could not clearly see my eyes. While I said the photos were perfectly good, because these are the same photographs exactly, that are on my US passport which was not stolen. She even showed my photos to two other agents and they quikly agreed that the photo was no good ! Then I showed her my passport with the same identical photos , and then she quickly agreed that I did not need new photographs. The problem is now the post office does passport photographs, and they need money, so it's very likely that any photograph you submit will be rejected. Because they prefer you to pay them money for a new photograph at the post office.
