A man in need of some simple relaxation get more than he bargained for when he stepped into a massage parlour for a back massage, only to be encountered with a naked ‘masseuse’ with somewhat more on her mind.
Writing on Facebook, the man said he entered the establishment in St Julian's, which marketed itself as a massage parlour, and paid €50 on arrival.
He was shown into the massage room, where after a few minutes, the masseuse returned, “fully naked ready to engage in sexual activities”.
I asked for my money back and upon saying this she started shouting and told me to get out without giving me back my money
“It is such a shame that so many so-called massage parlours have become a place where people vent their sexual needs,” the man said.
"I asked for my money back and upon saying this she started shouting and told me to get out without giving me back my money.”
This newspaper reported last month how sex workers posing as masseuses were increasingly turning to social media to advertise their services in the open, while a community of men making use of their services are using the same medium to share recommendations and reviews.
The establishment mentioned in the man’s post regularly features on one such group on Facebook, which has over 2,000 members and advertises itself as a discussion forum for “men and women who like giving and receiving a relaxing massage”.
