Woman makes false rape claim, then she lies about the character of a man she owes money to. This leads to a confrontation between the woman's friend and a guy knocking at the door. Eventually, an innocent man dies, all because the woman couldnt tell the truth if her life depended on it.

And what was her punishment? She had to post $150 bail money and was charged with a misdemeanor crime of false reporting.
