TONTITOWN, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Tontitown Police Department raided a massage parlor after an investigation of a tip received from a customer.
The Tontitown Police Department said it found documentation in its search that could suggest F Spa is tied to others in Bentonville, Rogers and Springdale, as well as in other states.
“Communities dictate the standards, and to say that we have received complaints about what’s going on here would be a massive understatement over the course of the last several weeks,” Keith Lindley, a detective with the Tontitown Police Department, said. “It was time to take action and that’s what we did today.”
Drug deal gone bad, led to juvenile injuries and one arrest in Springdale
Police arrived on the scene shortly after 2:40 p.m. and knocked on the door to F Spa. One occupant opened the door and police began its search which lasted approximately two hours.
Shortly after 5 p.m., the occupant who answered the door was placed in the back seat of one police unit and investigators left the scene.
As of 4 p.m., police confirmed one woman was in custody and being interviewed with the assistance of a Mandarin translator.

TPD identified the woman arrested as 61-year-old Yanling Tang.
On Nov. 3, 2023, police received a tip from a customer of “FOOT SPA,” who said he was offered “sexual contact” from a masseuse, according to the affidavit.
The customer said on his second visit his massage turned sexual near the end when allegedly the masseuse got on the table with him and patted her hand on his genitals with her hand over the sheet.
The customer said he denied the masseuse’s advances and wanted “only a massage.” He stated the last time he went the previous masseuse repeated “Only massage?” but he had thought it was due to English being her second language. Now he believes it was “apparent he was being offered sexual contact,” he told police.
Tontitown restaurant named among America’s ‘best old-school Italian restaurants’
A review of FOOT SPA, the location where police raided after an investigation showed suspicious activity of prostitution.
TPD investigation division conducted several hours of surveillance on the spa, where they found that the business has no posted hours and has customers visit as late as 11 p.m.
On Dec. 14, 2023, a person lifted their jacket to cover their neck and face when approaching and leaving the building.
Police also observed employees were brought and picked up by drivers, which means they do not drive or park at the business. The same two cars that were seen doing these have California plates.
Police find firearms and Molotovs in U-Haul high-speed chase
Police found the business listing on Google has multiple updates showing images of Asian women being promoted in “provocative clothing posing in a risque manner,” the affidavit states.
The investigation found the business was also tied to a website known for escort and prostitution.
TPD was searching for any records, notes or documents related to business activities along with paraphernalia related to prostitution, which includes “lubricants, provocative clothing, and condoms”, among other items, according to an affidavit.
