POLL: Have you ever been ignored in a chat room?

I like to go to free-chat-rooms.org, but every time I get on it's like everyone already knows each other and they're always in a deep conversation that's IMPOSSIBLE to break into. Even if I try saying hi, I'm always ignored. xD

Of course I have. Every once in a while I'll go to a chat room just because I don't know what else to do. It's better just to go out and have a real conversation with friends.

i know dog. its freakin annoying. lol i always used to try and get on chatrooms but they were like all already friends and i was ignored lol

no problem, this is all due to a surplus of shyness. what you must do is draw attention to yourself, by:
1.) have a good introduction
"hey everyone, im _____, nice to meet you, did you know i pee in the shower occasionally? but that's no big deal right, because don't we all?"
"hey im new here can you show me the way to your heart?"

2.) shout out embarrassing truths
"_____ IS IN LOVE WITH _____ BUT IS BEATING AROUND THE BUSH RIGHT NOW"

3.) engage in philosophical debates and/or meaningful questions
"What is the meaning in life?"
"Where am i exactly?"
"who are you?"
"Who am i?"
