Right - there's a big difference between AMP joints which are obviously full service and others which are more about the massage, where certain extras are offered or YMMV. It's clear that the inquiry in this particular thread is about the former - my experience has been primarily with the latter.

It occurs to me there is one more thing that needs to be said here that might not be obvious to some.

Though this is a "massage" thread and these call themselves "massage" places, the massage label is misleading in many cases. Usually where the hot, young girl is wearing just skimpy lingerie in a room with bed and a mirror on the wall, the $160/$200 price point doesn't apply as it would in a traditional massage place. Rather that is the agreed price for full service, which includes some massage and a bigger portion of nookie. If anything, the trim is the sure thing while the massage might be iffy.

Because you're paying for full service, it's not as if you need to stack some extra twenties lest she slap on a chastity belt instead of a condom. No, you're getting laid and usually quite well. That deal was sealed with you forked over the $160/$200, so smile.

Now, if you're in one of those places where they wear white coats and work at proper massage tables, where you paid $60 or so for the hour at the desk in front, you might be in the wrong place. Not to worry. The massage will probably great.

I tip for exceptionally good service. In my eyes the $160 philly/$200 nyc fee is the total cost for regular service. Regular service is what I usually receive, so I usually pay a total of $160/$200.

That is exactly right. They don't give you better service if you tip. Paradoxically, they may if they get to know you, whether you tip or not.

i concur with this statement. once you tip the girl and your out the door. they forget about you immediately other then the guy that gives extra money. i remember i tipped bonnie really well on my first encounter. the second encounter was aweful. the tip meant nothing. its not like i'm hideous, smelly, hairy, obese, just your normal clean cut white collar professional. whatever. i tip if the service is above and beyond typical kamp service. i do not tip for the future.

I think you've got some bad info. First, I've had premium talent at houses all over Philly and never paid more than $160 (to be split between the girl and the house) for 45-60 mins of exquisite pleasure. Second, the going rate in NYC is $200 (to be split between the girl and the house) for typically 60 mins of exquisite pleasure also with premium talent.

As for tipping, it is not expected at these places. Doesn't mean it isn't appreciated. But I can tell you without doubt from my own extensive and depraved experience that current or future treatment isn't dependent on reaching into your wallet again.

i think out of town . they make less on the volume so they need to make up for it by pricing. nyc has more volume in terms of custies but there are also more competitors so u need to keep the price at a certain range.

The 160 or 200 fee in ny is basically split between the house and the girl.
Supposedly girl will get 100 and the house taking the rest.

Tip at end is optional but kind of expected by the provider. Some will
shake you down to get it, standing with their palm extended.

Anything beyond that like second pop is extra, bbbj with first pop
can be negotiable as well.

It's just a little different than us out-of-towners are used to hearing it. When we hear a door fee that's three times what we're used to, in our heads, we're thinking it's going to be $400.

You've got it about right. For the FS amps it's a flat $200. Tipping is often expected, but not required, at the end of the session.

Most mamasans do not bang on the door 45 minutes in. That's just one or two clueless ones. If you go at a busy time, they may try to rush you out, but you can put a stop to it.

A lot of it depends on the place. My experience with AMPs has mostly been with tui-na or acupuncture businesses, where the door fee is only $45-80 for the hour and then you negotiate further with the masseuse, with the tip being as little as $20 and as high as almost $200. I have been to quite a few of these places, but am not the expert that some members of this board are.

This topic is touched on in a lot of places, but I couldn't really find a thread that made sense to add on to.

I have never been to an AMP in NYC and the way your pricing works is a little unclear to me. Maybe some of the New York crowd can help me.

Most of the AMP's that I have been to are in or near Philly, where it is always and without variation $160 at the door, then $100 to the girl inside. If you want two pops or want her to dress up like Gumby and hose you down with cheeze whiz or some other weird fetish request, then that is also extra.

In Jersey, sometimes they just ask for $250 all included, but if not, it's $60 or $70 or whatever at the door and then a hundred in the room.....but most of them are not AMPs. They're like Russians and dominicans.

It sure sounds from some of the posts like at the NYC places, the top end ones at least, you pay $200 at the door, then give the girl $40 or $50 after, at some point before the mamasan pounds on the door and yells in Korean about 45 minutes into the session.

Is that true or am I misreading something? Why on earth would a girl work in NYC where, even though the prices are higher, she only makes $40 per client when in the rest of the northeast, she can make a hundred but the house makes less? I guess the obvious answer is that she goes where she gets placed.

But I just want to make sure that nobody is expecting $200 up front and then another hundred or $150 when I get back in the room.

I have occasion to be in the city this weekend and thought I might check one of the places out from the banner ads.
