Well, just when I was sounding reliable I am not sure which bar is on what street due to my general condition upon arrival. I think there is a Judys on one and Judy's Too on the other. (We are talking Maoming Lu south of Fuxing Lu and Tongren Lu - they are not that far apart and probably 15 min cab at most from Hilton). Go hang all night for fun or go at 2 when the choosing gets serious. On Friday night I had a georgeous Chinese girl in the bar ask me for 1500 to go home - She was aces but I walked from it. Found another who immediately (ok - about 3 am) said yes to 700. I was cool and my apartment was nice so she asked to stay the night after we got there (no problem - nor was the extra morning service without extra plea for $$). You can do slightly better on the sidewalk price wise and believe me when you walk onto those sreets on a weekend night at 3 or 4 you will get lots of choice walking up to you. Julu Lu is another street to explore.

I think you must be talking about Bar Rouge on the Bund. It is the top floor of an exclusive buidling of restaurants and bars with one of the best views of the river and across to the bizarro land of Pudong architecture. I frankly wouldnt go there except for a 30 min looksee at the view. It is verrrry expensive, the service uniformly sucks...wait 30 min for a drink ..... but it is a high end and good looking crowd. It has lots of gorgeous Russian hookers but I cant imagine it is anything but expensive. If you like paying top dollar - knock yourself out and post the results here pls so we can all know. But as for me, I'd rather go to Maoming Lu or Tngren Lu about 1 or 2am, survey things and take one or 2 gals from the bars home for less than a 1000 each. I am a loong time reader but new poster .... can I really put pictures of some great gals here??? - I assume I should leave their faces out since I do respect these lovely ladies......

I am going to check out Yu Ping. RainBow hotel is a 4 star and I stayed there a few times. I believe there is a large bar with lots of girls in the hotel and it starts at 10 pm. I did not pick up anyone. As soon as someone indicates that it is so and so an hour, it puts me off. This tells me that she is always in a rush and will want to get as many customers as possible per night.

I stayed at the Rainbow Hotel in the sw quadrant, they do have a website. Nice hotel. I don't speak Chinese, but it was easy at the hotel- they cater a lot to foreign business man. Many employees spoke English.

Charlies Angels was easy, (the url is in an earlier post) the man answering the phone spoke good English.
the girls spoke very little English, but that didn't slow things down a bit.

I was told not to stay in Pudong so can someone recommend a hotel near to Yu Ping and in a section that could make it easy for some of the kind woman mentioned in this forum (like Portia and Toni) to get to easily? I don't know any Mandarin, only English, so maybe I'm in big trouble? Any suggestions? I like the idea of Ms. Zhou "wriggling" on top!

They all speak a little English, first one probably a little more. Let me know how you get along. They are not professionals, but are willing, so depends on you to lead them slowly. The last one probably the easiest. My favorate is the first one. She would wriggle on top of you until she comes first and you do the rest yourself. They all like to learn English, so that is a conversation lead.

I just wanted to give some quick, first hand reccomendations, and one wry observation.

I was in Shanghai all last week, 8 days, and definitely wanted to try some fun with ladies. I had read all about Yu Ping, everyone's descriptions and information was great-- but I have to admit I was still a little intimidated, being a westerner with no Chinese, heck just finding the damn place in the world's largest city, and then not being sure how to ask or what to exactly to do when I got there.
So, rather reluctantly I decided I wasn't going to pursue Yu Ping this trip.

But still wanting company, I decided to call Charlies Angels. In short, I had three very good experiences. Based on comments I got Portia first, very young, almost teeny-boperish or naughty cheerleader, very accomdating, very skilled, very enthusiastic, but very young/immature. But overall a very good experience.

So good I decided to go for seconds, and called for a double with Portia and Toni. A great night: Portia was herself, Toni is probably mid-twneties, drop dead gorgeous in all categories, and you get the feeling you could actually have a conversation with her, if I spoke Chinese.

So I decided to call just Toni on my last night. And it was absolutely the best night. Fantastic lady, almost a true GFE, except no DFK, that's is certainly her perogative. Very very highly reccomended.

I have heard someone complain because Charlies is much more expensive than the norm in Shanghai. Well, it was a tremendous value, and still 1/3 to 1/2 what you would pay in the states.
The service was great and easy (for a westerner), and the ladies were fantastic, especially Toni.
I will be going back to Shanghai next year.
After my last night with Toni, the next morning I decided to take one last walk before heading for the airport. Went in a direction I hadn't gone before , after I went about four blocks, I looked up and there was the Yu Ping Hotel. DAMN. Oh well, at least there is someone I can tell this story to, since I couldn't tell my family or co-workers.
FYI, it is in the far southwest quadrant of the city.

Just finished a whirlwind Hong Kong/Macau/Tibet/Shanghai/Beijing trip. Here are my experiences:

1. Hong Kong: only had 2 days to spent there, tried my luck with 141, twice, but was dissappointed with the experience. The girls did not look anything like the hotties on the website (neither one were above 5). Not sure if I am the only one with such luck

2. Macau: after I left Hong Kong with a bitter aftertaste, I went to one place that I could rely only: Darling Sauna, sure it was pricy ($1380 Hong Kong), but for someone who flew half-way across the globe, it was worth it. Besides, I won some $$ in the just opened Wynn Casino. I had at least 20-30 girls to choose from, there were Thai, Chinese, Vietnames as well as caucasian girls whom I suspect to be Russians. Most of those were at least 7-8's with a few topping 9-10s. I went with a curvy 5'5 Chinese cutie with a babyface and an innocent smile. She was at least 35D and turned out to have an amazing shapy ass, which I wasn't expected. Service started with a nice hot bath where she gave a sensual rub down and a wet boob massage, then followed by a so-so back rub; next was the mandary BJ which lasted about 10 min; finally the grand finale. The girl was very friendly and we were able to chat despite my limited mandarin. She took her time and I did not feel rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was luxurious by MP standards: nice big hot tub, glass mirror everywhere, music and even small flat screen TVs mounted on the wall.

3. Chengdu: it was an overnite stop before flying to Tibet. The man that brought the luggage up to my hotel room (by the airport) arranged a girl for only $400 RMB. She was young and pretty but the experience was very robotic and otherwise forgetable.

4. Shanghai: Thanks to intelligence provided by this forum, I tried Yuping and it was by far the best experience of the entire trip. I showed up at 3 and had about 8 girls to choose from: mostly 7-8's, again I went for the one with the nicest curves and a killer smile. As luck would have it, once again I was rewarded with nice big soft breasts and a shapy ass. It started with an average back rub and a nice boob massage, followed by a 10 min BJ which was one of the best that I could remember. First she used the conventional fire/ice technique, then it was the famous "red-rope" BJ, it was so erotic that I almost lost it, finally she finished it by more fire/ice techniques. 4. Beijing: I was dead tired by this time, went to the "Mix" club with my friends, it didn't appear to be the place to pick up free-lancers. However, I noticed on a street that's about 1/2 mile away, there were easily 6 - 8 niteclubs and "KTV" bars that were condensed next to each other with their bright neon lights flashing. I suspect that's where you can find some actions.

Advice on Tibet: wait a few more years before you go there, the hotels there are not up to standards yet. Oh and take the train there if you can, that way it allows you to adjust to the elevations. I flew there straight and paid by price: nausea + non-stop headache for 8 days!! I took the train leaving Lasa, it was a very pleasant ride rewarded with scenic views.
