In the Roman Catholic tradition, the process of becoming a saint is a lengthy and complex one (and for the sake of this review here, let's overlook the fact that the sainted person has to have died, often martyred horribly). The final step in becoming a saint is to have two verified miracles attributed to the holy individual. Today I put forth that Jodi, of massage fame, be officially canonized as a saint for her second miracle (the first miracle being her blessed wit). What miracle is that, you ask? She healed my sprained ankle!
A while back, I injured my ankle badly when I took a weird step off of a curb. I went to the doctor, who told me it was barely() a level one sprain. Whatever level it was, it (initially) hurt like a son-of-a-bitch, and I had trouble putting weight on it for a few days. Anyways, I was due to see Jodi for my monthly massage shortly after my accident, so I hobbled through life as best I could until I could see her.
To make a long story short, when I did see Jodi, I told her about my sprained ankle, and she went to work on it, using massage techniques and possibly some judo to fix it. And what do you know! She was able to improve stability and reduce pain and swelling in the affected area by a hundredfold.
So to close this review, thank you, St. Jodi. You are and will continue to be my #1 massage choice.
