Review Jade @ Steeles Royal Enigma

Ok gents so I decided to get my weekly massage and once again I decided to go to Steeles Royal Enigma. I decided to go here again because I remember them saying that they were gonna do a re-grand opening for the newly renovated side. And I gotta say Joy and or Anita did a great job. The new side looks amazing, from the floors to the ceiling to the huge waterfall right where you enter. It truly fits the name "Steeles Royal" cause when you walk in there you do feel like royality. So GREAT JOB ladies I look forward to coming back there.

Anyways now on to the massage. So when I walked in there it must have been around 9pm and I didn't have an appointment and was told that I had the choice of seeing Chanel or Jade. I remember seeing Chanel in previous parade walks and I've never seen Jade before just on the site pictures. So I decide to go with Jade for a hour session. I was led to a room nicely done, with mirrors all around you including the ceiling. After the shower I sat on the table waiting, waiting and waiting. I must have waited ohhhh I don't know must have been 15mins. I thought to myself this can't be good. As I thought about this I noticed that there was a clock behind me so I made a note of the time.

Now in comes Jade, very cute and stunning girl in my eyes. Her attitude however wasn't like how I've been treated before from other girls there, even if I have never met them before. So anyways, in she comes introduces herself, no hug, no hand shake, no nothing, she right away asks me to lie on my stomach. The back massage begins...and thats all that's getting massaged. No massage on the legs and most importantly no teasing. During the back massage not much was said but the most important question to me and that is...how long have you worked here...and the answer I got was...2 weeks. At first I thought great a newbie things are not gonna go right. But then I thought I've had a few newbie's before and they performed a good session so maybe just maybe this one won't be different.

I couldn't be oh so wrong. After what felt like 10mins of only a back massage asked me to flip. I was shocked at that but I flipped and thought okay maybe she'll spend the rest of the time doing a front massage and BS. Well she started the BS which was okay I definatly had better in the past. Which lasted for about another 10 mins. Then came the finish and I thought too myself I gonna try and hold back cause I knew that it was not an hour but 'ol faithful erupted and it was over. So when she hopped in to the shower first I took another glance at the clock and realized that the time didn't move...the clock wasn't working.

So basically, I was not happy with the session. I didn't say anything cause I'm not the type of guy to make a scene. Especially at a place that is well respected and a place I enjoy going too and I was not gonna let one bad session ruin my past experiences there. Besides I don't know whos fault it was, wheather if the receptionist didn't tell the MPA that it was an hour session, or if the MPA knew it was for an hour and decided upon herself to make it a half hour session...who knows. So I just paid what the cost of the hour BS was and walked out.

So if your asking yourself, if the clock was broken how did I know that the session wasn't for an hour??? Well when I got back to my car I looked at the time and it was 9:37pm and I know that I wasn't at the spa at 8:37pm, because at 8:40pm I was at a bank at Hwy7 and Hwy27 which is about 15-20mins away from the spa.

Anyways I will be back to the spa but I will not will not repeat with Jade.

Once again Joy and Anita great job on renovating the new side of the building can't wait too see what you girls have planned for the original side.

Thanks for the review and I hate playing devil's advocate.. buuuuut... don't you share some responsibility here? I have let attendants know that our time wasn't quite up before and usually they just say "oh ok thanks!" Just saying.

Anyhow, SRM is the best spa in the business so I'm sure they will be having a conversation with you soon. And yes, love the new building!

There is no point makinga scene about being short changed on time. When the session is going poorly all you really want is to just get it over with. My question is why would you get a one hour session with a girl you've never seen before?

No one like a scene, but there's absolutely no reason why a politely phrased complaint should cause one. Your clock checks would be enough for a conscientious management like SRM's to follow up—and I'd bet they record in/out-times—, but it sounds like you had a paper record from the ATM as well.

One factor you must accept is that you got the services, and went along all the way, never mentioning the type of session you wanted but weren't getting, that the clock had maybe stopped, that it was all over so fast etc. It sounds like you did get the BS cyou arranged, complete except for time. Some guys do want to leave promptly, some guys want an early shot in hopes of another. All that might well be seen as 'another satisfied customer', unless you said something to someone.

If they can't rely on their customers to keep them apprised of how things go, how would you expect management to monitor the MPAs in those private rooms? Cameras? Complaining on massageplanet.net cannot fix your problem, and it's a really inefficient way to get thru to SRM. With that wee slip of paper to reassure yourself that you truly were shorted, you really should have gone back in and pleasantly asked to discuss your session.

Agreed! but a post on massageplanet.net is not a complaint to management, it is a review of an MPA. It seems TDK was not only dissapointed with being short changed on time but also the quality of the session. Had he not been short changed on time he would still be dissapointed.

I think, the best thing is to schedule 30 or 40 minutes sessions with new MPAs rather than an hour long session.
