Saskatoon police said in a media release they received a report from a 31-year-old woman that she was sexually assaulted during a massage at a business in the 4000 block of Degeer Street on April 3.
Kenneth Braun, 65, was arrested on Thursday and charged with sexual assault. He made his first court appearance Thursday afternoon and is expected appear in Saskatoon provincial court on June 21.
Business registration documents show that Braun is the director of Braun Massage Therapy Inc. and its address is located in the 4000 block of Degeer Street.
The Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan said in an email that Braun is not an active member of the association since he had been suspended in May after a complaint was received. The association was also notified about his arrest Thursday, the email said.
Investigators in the police’s sex crime unit believe there could be more victims.
