Sauna Update in Puxi, my two cents.

First of all, this is my first contribution as I just arrived in Shanghai. I read a lot on this forum so I'll try to not make any mistakes. Second, please forgive me any language mistakes as it's not my mother tongue.

I'm not much of a writer, but I'd like to share with you the experience I just had in two sauna place in Shanghai. I've read a lot on the Internet about it, but things (price, locations, services...) seems to move a lot.

One disclaimer thought, I'm living in China for a while, so I can speak a little Chinese. At least enough for this kind of things and to chat a bit with the girls. But as it was the first time I get to this kind of place, I might have missed some things by not asking if they weren't propose to me.
Finally, I will not give the address of theses places, as most of the readers already know the places, and the others can easily find them on Internet (as I did).

Golden 18 :

Seems closed, I walked by a weekday around 1pm (where it should have been open), and the infamous lock was barring the doors. So, unfortunately, I have to guess it's still closed. Please en light me if I'm wrong.

999 :

Went there last Wednesday. The place is open and seems to have a lot of traffic. I just saw a lot of Chinese guys (or at least Asian... sorry I didn't really give a good look at them) but the girl told me they also have some westerners. The place from outside has no distinctive sign, just a big black door and big black windows. You know you're here thanks to the n°999 next to the door. I went in and, without question asked (not even the price...) a young guy show me to the looker room, which are not private. I'm not specially shy and I don't feel “threaten” by naked Chinese men around me, but that's not very comfortable. I didn't take a shower (shared) thank to a young guy who told me I could take one upstairs. So I directly change my clothes to the famous Chinese massage outfit and get upstairs, where I was welcomed by 2 beautiful Chinese girls.
This place is huge ! I walked through the corridors directly to the fishing bowl, where there was two male employees. At this point I didn't say anything about what I wanted, and nobody asked me... I guess they used to foreigners coming there exclusively for that.
The male employee push a button and the fishing bowl curtain lift up. I didn't count them as I was eager to choose one, but there were at least 20 young ladies. I'd say 4 to 8 (but when I leave, I pass through the bowl again quickly and I saw at least one I'd give a good 9), wearing very sexy outfits, all different. I choose one girl who seems nice (I don't like the “whore make-up” type, I prefer the traditional look) and we get to a private room.
The room was ok, not too small with a big bed covered with red false leather (very annoying noise when there's action) and a big bathroom with a small plastic bed for the body-body soap massage. We began to talk (that's the problem when you're Laowai and speaks a little Chinese, they spoke a lot !) and she wash me. Everywhere ! She was of course also naked and I soaped her a bit too. Then we went to the small plastic bed where where she did a very nice body-body soapy massage... Man that was good ! Then, we washed again and go to bed.
She started licking me everywhere, even my AH (she put a thing on her tongue to do thats, like a tongue's condom ) and then, BBBJ (CIM if you want). The funny thing, however nice for her and for me, is that she kept spraying her mouth with some disinfectant, gargle and spit to the bin. We did our things, which was ok but not great (fake moans but didn't do a great moving...). Moreover, she was “scared” of my cock. “Tai Da !” Honestly guy, it's certainly bigger than most Asian guys, but not that big... Anyway, I'm a nice guy and I don't see the point to hurt someone having pleasure (I'm not sadistic) so she finished me in her mouth. Then we cuddle a bit, more licking... And it was over.
Finally, she give me the number of one of her friend who likes foreigners and who's not afraid of Laowai's tools.
At this point, I wasn't surprised as it was more or less what I've already read on others review. But, remember I didn't ask nothing, the bill was bit surprising. I paid 800 for 60' where I thought it was 680 for 90' before 6pm (it was 3pm). I haven't argue since I didn't saw any recent information about that and the “happy hour” might have been canceled, but I'd like to have your opinion about that guys.

In conclusion, I'll go again, but I'll definitely choose another girl... And I hope I can pay the “happy hour” price as well !

I also came there in mid-afternoon. The place looks more “cheap” than 999, but clean. There where three mid-ages Chinese guys (who seems to be the co-owner/bouncer/pimp, I don't know) and an old lady at the cash register. And of course a bunch of young Chinese guys to show you around, take your shoes... Not ONE customer (at least I haven't seen them). As soon as I came in, a young guy ask me “soapy massage ?”, I of course answer yes, and they showed me to a private room with a locker, more comfortable than the previous. There's no fish bowl here, just a room where you face the girls (which can be a bit more intimidating...). Just four girls here, and not very pretty... 3 to 6 I'd say (my tastes...). They all wear a kind of sport suit, not very sexy either... I take the 6 (of course, why would I take a girl I rated 3... ^^) and we went to the room.
I'll make it shorter this time. Less nicer room, no body-body soapy massage, no ass licking (I didn't really mind...) but the girl actually turn to an 8, even 9 when I saw her ass... She was way more willing and active, and even beautiful in action.

I paid 680 for one hour (also read it was for 90' but...). Honestly, I had a greater time there, but thanks to the girl. I don't really like the place who looks more like a mob place than a “regular” sauna. But I had a great time with a beautiful and willing girl, so I didn't regret it and I may go there again.

Ok, that's all folk. I think that's enough for a first review. Please, post some review too, even if it's already been reviewed last year as a lot seems to have changed. Mightywind did a great review some month ago, but only for Pudong (I'm talking about sauna place). Where's the fun in Puxi ?

Anyway, I hope this will help some of you, and even if it's your first time in a sauna place, don't worry, the folk there are used to, they'll drive you at every step (even if you don't speak Chinese, at least for these two).
