I much prefer getting outcalls (delivery) or in-house spa just to avoid any potential embarassing situations with colleagues or customers. Have had average to good quality with in-house spas (various hotels in Shanghai and Beijing) but just 1 good out of 3 tries with ads. Cost is anywhere from 30% higher to more than double of what you might find on the streets or bars but note that I'm a lousy negotiator. I figured I'm paying for peace of mind but others may not share my concerns.

If you are in town regularly, it pays to keep tabs on the ads posters so you know who/what you're dealing with. Tough for me since my visits are completely beyond my control. :-(

mostlikely a scam, places where they speak or advertise in english either scams or very expensive. good place in Jing An area is corner of chang de lu and anyuan lu, 5, 6 small shops hj 50,bj 130 and fs 200 . places are not clean but ok, in the evening they dont use lights so easier to check places daytime.police closed this place earlier but now open. shops are in the same building as restaurant in the corner next to real estate agency
